Any One Piece Fans Here?

I use to hate it, but then I give it a second chance and now I love it.

Favourite characters would have to be Sanji, Mihawak, Kizaru and Luffy.

Also I love how vast the powers in the show are. My favourite one being Kuma's Paw Paw fruit.

No not really. I've seen a few episodes, but I never really got into it.
Actually I don't really watch anime anymore, mostly because I don't have a good source for it. Oh sure there's the Internet, but I couldn't be bothered to go seek it out. Besides I don't know what's worth watching.

I love One Piece. My favorite character is Brook, whats not to love about a talking perverted skeleton? My least favorite ark would be the Davey Back fight if that can even be called an ark, I also didn't care for the Alabasta ark that much. I think it was Crocodile's fault.

Whitebeard-Navy war. It just kinda happened with no leading up to it. I was kinda confused. But I still like it, just haven't watched it for a while.

I thought it was excellently explained and foreshadowed. I read the comics and don't watch the animated show, so maybe there's a difference.

I mean the whole "Ace captured" was show a good 10 or so comics in advance and characters continuously kept talking about a new era. I'm in the middle of that battle right now, so far it's amazing! What a breath of fresh air from the normal 'get to new island, explore and fight boss for 3-4 volumes', I tend to think each indivual island gets a little too much face time, I'd appeciate a little bit of a quicker flow through events. I love the battle.

Currently playing through Unlimited Cruise Part 1, good game so far.

I envy you! They had release that game way too small of quantity in Britain.

Anyway I'm also a fan of One Piece and my favourite characters are Nico Robin and Zoro. To me I prefer One Piece over to Naruto and Bleach combine together.

Too bad part two never came out here, so when I finish this one, I'm going to be trying to get a UK copy or something.

I'm up to date with it but I think that is a spin off. You might be able to guess which character I would put in spoiler tags.

I think that the manga is generally better. Oda is a real talent and not all of it comes through in the anime although the Japanese voice actors are very good.

I don't know why, but of all the long form anime I've seen, this is the only one I like. I think it might have to do with the complete random changes of scene.

Alabasta was a MASSIVE plot arc.. but when it was over, the party weren't like... invincible gods (cough, dbz, cough) and so when further things happened after that, it was still fun to watch.

It just seems like the stories are much more interesting than ones for other shows. They don't pretend their characters are deep either. (Haha, Bleach).

I agree (though not on the only anime), what I love about One Piece is that while they get stronger their is always places to improve.

I stopped reading Naruto (though sort of need to catch up) and gave up on Bleach. I agree with you, in Naruto/Bleach after each arcs (more so for bleach) that the characters are these awesome god-like beings and then suddenly another powerful villian comes. It just feels cheap sort of.

In One Piece, you know even before that their is a lot of strong people. I sort of explained it kind of wierd but I think got it off...
