My Sith character in SWTOR. Complete mastery of the Force, no restrictive moral code on its use, cool lightsaber, feared at least as much as Vader but still has loyal companions to hang out with, my own starship. Only drawback is the cybernetic left eye, but not a deal-breaker.

Being an avatar of Lorkhan, the Elder scrolls heroes are practically gods by default.

Tiber Septim was one also, and he changed all of Cyordiil from a tropical jungle into that mid-evil European landscape JUST BY THINKING IT.

The Warden from Dragon Age: Origins. I'd be the mage version. That way, I'd have sweet magic powers, I'd get to slay dragons, and of course, hook up with my avatar.

Either Solaire from Dark Souls (Praise the Sun btw \[T]/) or Sackboy so that all of my friends and I can look like Sackboy, and create the world like we are all Gods among Gods, and the world would look so bombastic when finished.

And the proswagonsit from Persona 4, but this one was taken by so many people already for obvious reasons...
Dante from the good ol DMC days, style everywhere.

If we're in the game world, DMC4 Dante would be awesome, but if we're just talking about being that character sent to the real world, I'd have to go with Alex Mercer from Prototype. Think about it... you basically get ALL THE POWERS!
Shapeshifting? Check.
Super Strength? Check.
Regeneration? Check.
Flight? ...Eh, close enough.

I'd be Gordon Freeman. Lots of brains and a deceptive amount of brawn.

Anyone who bothers me would EAT THEORETICAL PHYSICS. In the form of a crowbar's bent end.

Really, I consider Freeman to be the best vulgarizer in the scientific community. Move over, Stephen Hawking, the One Free Man is going to tell us all about the principle of inertia!

*whack, whack, whack*

How very astute.

Freeman because he has a Phd and a crowbar and a gun...lots of guns even a gravity gun. He dress fashionably too.

captcha: no-brainer

Creepy indeed

Thread got me thinking and I quickly realized something...

Almost all characters in games have some seriously shitty lives.

I have to agree with the first guy and say Batman.
If you don't choose Batman, it's probably because you're already Bruce Wayne.

And having to be a traumatized dude who watched his parents get gunned down and since then has developed an extreme monomania about crime, and who seems completely unable to derive any kind of joy or satisfaction from anything in his life, ever?

Thanks, but no thanks.

Kane from C&C off course. Having an entire faction worshiping you like some kind of a deity is just epic win. And apparently i could get doppelgangers by just transfusing some blood (I know that sounds retarded but that's what EA decided...). And let's not forget i wouldn't age!

And to the batman guys, i survived an ion cannon blast on my face, would like to see bruce wayne survive that!

Not all of them, surely? I thought that the Nerevarine, or Morrowinds protagonist was an avatar of Lorkhan, but Oblivions main character? And Skyrims?

Steve or Link, life just seems to be more peacful in the world of Minecraft. I would love to live in a place where the limits of my imagination is constantly pushed. Link's simpler time where you can be a hero and have adventures all the time would be awsome.
