Now this scene was one of the most emotionally heavy scenes I've encountered so I need a visual novel which is nice and light, preferably comical and being a eroge helps
Light, comical, and eroge? Snow Sakura would be my biggest recommendation, then. I'm only 3/4 of the way through one route, at the moment, but it's the first romantic comedy VN I've played that's actually far more weighted towards the "comedy" aspect than reverse. I mean...it's basic premise is that the main character comes home from school one day to find his house empty, his parents taking a long-term vacation in Hawaii, and them sending him to live with relatives in Hokkaido.
Because his father is the world's biggest troll.
<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.163769-Neutral-Drow-reviews-Kanon>Kanon would also be a high recommendation. Key Visual Arts' works have strong reputations for being tearjerkers, and this is technically no exception, but it was a lot more fun and lighthearted than I was expecting. It's one of my favorites, to be honest.
Most of the other stuff I could recommendation for quality (and there are a lot) probably wouldn't do much to help recover from Muv-Luv. Believe me, I can sympathize with needing a lighthearted visual novel to recover from a heavier one. I stopped playing Family Project in the middle (though it's honestly pretty funny, too) because it was getting a little heavy for me. So to detox, I played <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.308335-Neutral-Drow-reviews-Symphonic-Rain>Symphonic Rain.
...that was roughly analogous to looking for a personal fitness trainer and hiring M.O.D.O.K.
