Anybody bought Prototype?

Hey just wondering if anybody had bought and played prototype yet.
If so, please share your thoughts, as I am a tad skeptical about it's quality.

It's good but somewhat buggy.

About a 4 on the bug scale.

1 being no bugs 10 being Team fortress 2 before they fixed the ability for a scout to wield a minigun and jump infinitely.

Perhaps the lack of reviews is due to the reviewers having too much damn fun with the game that they haven't gotten to the reviewing part!

Pre-ordered, but since my country is shitty, I have to way to 26.06.09 OR pay 1.5 of the normal price and get it on 12.06.09.

Right now I'm overclocking my E2160 to 2.4GHz in order to play the game easily.

I never noticed before that it was published by activision, that makes me feel good regardless of lack of reviews so far.

It was made by the same people that made the GOOD Hulk game on PS2, Xbox and Gamecube. From what I've heard, the game received really good reviews and people loved it for mindless destruction of towns and freedom.

Ever think that the lack of reviews might have something to do with an average play through being clocked at 30+ hours, without most side missions being completed?

It's a long game, to expect most reviewers (who I assume are of average skill) to blast through a game like this in eight hours or so is just expecting too much.

As far as I know it will release Wed. the 10th here in the states, so don't know where you people are playing the game, but... it isn't out yet.

8 hours is more than enough to review a sandbox game.

The reviews are late for it, but the developers have stated that they've been hearing good things, and most of the reviews will be in the 8-9 region.

No, that's ridiculous. Games and movies always have reviews up at least 3 or 4 days before release, and they sure don't get a copy of the game the day before release. The fact that it comes out either today or tomorrow and there is only one review to be found online, might mean that the game is lacking or disappointing and the developers are holding back the reviews. Either that, or they have set up some absurd embargo for another reason.
