Anybody bought Prototype?

IGN just got their review up. I have not gotten the game yet, but I never really trusted IGN that much. It seems they review there games very seriously and don't take into consideration things like funness (not a word, but oh well) or it doesn't seem like they do.

Ok I'm back. So Prototype was pretty fun. You start off with a shit load of powers for the tutorial then you flash back to when you wake up in a morgue with hardly any powers. Its a little buggy and in some fights its hard to see where u are but so far ive enjoyed playing it. I give the first couple levels an 8 out of 10 but i have a feeling that the game is gonna get a lot better once u aquire more powers so i would just get it

It's released tomorrow where I'm at. I don't know buddy, I was able to play a little inFamous the other day and I'm pretty impressed (since the games are often compared to each other being extremely similar) too bad it's for PS3, though and me being a 360 man. But I don't see why a port wouldn't be possible in the future...

Sucker Punch develops exclusively for Sony. All the Sly Cooper games were on PS2 only.

Maybe... a lot of things have changed, and everybody has their price.

The Australian IGN has given Prototype an 8.5, noting it has being, essentially, more balls to the wall than inFamous and that the games are fundamentally different whilst both being in the same genre.

Saw the PC version today at my EB...looked at it, saw the $60 price tag and put it down. I've made impulse buys before but lack of consensus on quality from reviews and unconvincing videos have refrained me from buying. So I went over to bestbuy and baught a new monitor instead . Perhaps when it's 30 or 40 bucks.

$60 PC version? That's bullshit, I'm glad you didn't buy it. PC gamers need to vote with their wallets and let publishers know that unlike console gamers we are not willing to allow game prices to creep up like that.

Yea it was major bull, typically around here PC games are 40-50 new and on average between 20-40. The only other game that even hits the retarded 60 buck margine is CoD4 PC, WTF!? it's like 2 years old and still full price?! fuck that I'm pirating you then, damn crooks...(yes I know the hypocrisy in that statement lol)

Assassin's Creed 2 has me more interested in the sandbox genre. There's just something about being way too invincible in sandbox games that doesn't appeal to me.
