My local Best Buy didn't have it, but the Gamestop did.

Everyone, you have no reason to worry. This game is awesome, I have no complaints as of yet.

I thin the availability depends on the area that you live in. I live in Atlanta so I'm guessing they sent a lot of copies my way.

Yes, I'm a few hours in and it is fabulous, I have had no problems with it.

It was supposed to come out today round here. However, when I went to pick it up at the GameStop I pre-ordered at I was informed it was delayed until tomorrow. I called out of work today to get it. =/

I know, I am going to murder someone if it isn't in my hand tomorrow.

I called my local gamestops to inquire about its availability, and all of them said it comes out tomorrow (despite pre-ordering, and despite the Prototype Site stating that it came out today). I then looked around online, and it turns out that all places - within 3 hours driving distance of my home - that are selling it won't actually sell any copies until the 10th or 11th. Even D2D won't sell it until tomorrow.

Yet another sleepless night of anxious anticipation.

6/9/09 is the shipping date, that retarded release date the publishers love to market. Always add 1 day to US release dates before you can actually find it in a store.

Yeah, shipping dates 101: only the stores near enough to distribution centers to get same day delivery will get copies.

As far as I know it will release Wed. the 10th here in the states, so don't know where you people are playing the game, but... it isn't out yet.

It is out in the US, i saw it at walmart earlier today, but i didnt buy cuz i usually like to see reviews first
