One interesting thing I noticed about some of my dreams, it that they seem to have a consistent geography. Not the crazier "monsters want to kill me" kind, but the more normal ones. It's funny because I can dream that I'm in a mall with someone, just hanging, and them, almost a year later I will have a dream on a random fictitional street, and during the dream I can recall that the mall from the first one is near. Is like I remember a dream while inside another dream *cue Inception sound*.

When I was a child, I had numerous reoccurring dreams. My favourite involved a maternity ward, matches, and those shoulder angel/demons that you see in cartoons, all while nobody really cares that I was burning down a hospital. Just walking around, setting fire to flammable things like documents and curtains, and everyone was just going around their business, screaming babies and all.

Things didn't really get too surreal until after I burned the building down. Everyone's bodies, in various states of crispiness, just got up and started walking home, some new mothers, and others delicious bacon babies.

Now that I think about it, I had a lot of dreams revolving around fire both destructively and as a source of creation when I was a child. Clearly, fate has decided that I am to become a dictator.

Also had a dream that I was at a convention or something. Not any kind of convention; there were animoo cosplayers, fursuiters, and gun enthusiasts. It was an every-con. This is an idea that needs to happen. Someone make it happen.

Most recent dream and probably one of the most boring ever: Dreamt I was at an airport travelling half the world to Australia. There was a problem at check-in where they had decided to fly the other direct around the world to get there instead and so we were worrying about our insurance. (It could have been a nightmare it was that dull). Sadly I don't seem to remember my dreams much anymore and they're a lot less interesting.

I used to dream a whole lot more when I was younger and lucid dream a lot. I'd be aware I was dreaming but was trapped in the dreams when I wanted to wake up. So I used to be able to wake myself up by imagining running away from some ogre wielding a spiky club up my stairs. Get to the top and I'm safe. But to wake up I'd have to stop running and get hit.. wasn't pleasant but it worked.

I've also had a dream within a dream within a dream before(all Inception-y) and I could enter this weird half-sleeping state where I could imagine being in a world and controlling it but I wasn't actually asleep.

I still get recurring themes in dream though such as sailing in a little boat around tropical islands, waterparks, and jumping off tall waterfalls with massive deep lakes below and flying before hitting the water (most of the time).

I dreamt I walked into the office, walked to my cubicle, and my boss is waiting. There is a pink slip on my desk. The boss says "Don't fight it, it'll be fine, I'll fix it."... And then I wake up.

Then I go into my office, tell my boss the story, and she looks at me and says "You have the most amazingly precognative dreams... You're being moved to Ray's team." Made my heart stop for a second....

Those are the worst. Going through your boring morning routine five times before you get to the real thing has a way of wearing you out before you've even got started.

The last and weirdest dream I remember was about me being a Jew and getting killed by the Nazis, after which I was reborn as a star-shaped (Pentagram? SoD? Tetragrammaton?) bio-robot made of flesh, fire and cast iron and fought the chrome Nazi robots on top of some glass skyscrapers to save my pure Jewish girlfriend. I guess I shouldn't read so much borderline occult stuff.

I had a really weird 2 parter dream. The first was 2 nights ago and the second was last night. Though the second was shorter.

Somehow one of my friends moved from Florida to So Cal and wound up living next to me only it was one of the more desert types of areas. For some reason she had Diamondbacks(Crotalus atrox) as pets. And one of my dogs (I don't know where the other two were but I had my black lab) and I were playing fetch with a stick and a ball(which doesn't make sense because she doesn't play fetch traditionally meaning she doesn't bring shit back but she'll get it and run around with it like an idiot in her mouth) and I wound up throwing it in her backyard in a way that it wound up in her snake habitat. And instead of the ball I threw she came back with a coiled Diamondback in her mouth (I don't know how so don't ask and expect an actual response). I had my friend grab her snake from my dog's mouth and the snake bit both her and my dog and we got it into a box. (that was part 1)

(this is part 2) We managed to get the dog, her, and the snake into my car quickly (which is reasonable because my dog fucking loves car rides). And I managed to call ahead to the vet to drop both dog and snake off for getting healed and telling them it was a diamondback rattler (so they could properly treat my dog and the snake and exercise caution with the snake). And the vet and an assistant got my dog and the snake from my car into the office with a promise from me I'd be back soon as I got my friend to the ER. Got her to the ER and then I woke up.

I'm starting to think having snakes as a rotating computer background might not be the best thing ever (but screw it I like snakes)

I absolutely love dreams and talking about them!
Th other night, I had a dream that there was a play being performed by my entire family at my grandmother's house. I don't even know what role I played, but no one ever got to the play because there was a rattlesnake that was there, and everyone was terrified of it. It kept racing around (because it was unnaturally fast) and trying to bite people, and I was the only one that was trying to grab it and keep it from biting, but I could never actually catch it.
I woke up a little stressed from that and felt convinced (at first) that there was a snake under my boyfriend's bed. I love snakes too, but this one was way too fast, so it made it scarier.

If I remember them at all I tend to have pretty horrific dreams, but they fade quickly. I can only hold onto them for a few minutes and after that all I have is a vague sensation of what the dream was like, no details.

My dreams are often based on media that I was consuming that night (Arkham Horror dreams are the best :p), they otherwise tend to be quite surreal. I recently had a dream where I was riding on the back of a whale named Tim as he swam underwater. Because I couldn't breath, I (somehow) asked him if he could surface, Tim responds in a very deep voice and begins to fly into the lilac sky. Tim and I discussed various things including our favourite movies and video games (he really liked Spyro) and we sung songs by bands such as The Rolling Stones.

I also recently had a dream where a couple of friends of mine were sitting with blank expressions in a dimly lit room just listening to some faint buzzing noises coming from a radio. I asked what they were doing, they just asked me to be quiet as I was distracting them from a very important broadcast. I sat in the room with them to find out what was happening for several minutes, after which I gave up and left.

I had a dream last night in which everyone was brutally honest all the time, and the only way anyone could lie was through the consumption of an extremely illegal drug. Obviously this was problematic, because it meant the only way to keep its use secret was to keep using.
