Anyone else sick of getting all these badges?

All at once, I mean.

There you are, logging on, and you've got 2 new messages and you think 'oh good, some more discussion going on' only to find you've just got a badge telling you that you've watched 100 zero punctuations. Oh wait, theres another badge. Apparently you've also watched 50 zero punctuations.

If I'm the only one then I'll back down, I'm just saying I'm not too impressed when all these notifications are notifying me about these badges telling me what I already know...

Egh. It was a bit of surprise to get all of them at once, but it inevitably won't last.

It's much less annoying than the unending stream of messages about someone posting something in a group I occasionally check into, which I used to get until I figured out how to turn it off and spent almost two hours emptying my inbox of inanity.

I don't mind them, I couldn't give two shits about them in fact. It's nice for them to be there, but if they were removed completely I don't think I'd care or fight to get them back.

Well, a bit. I really don't see the point of various badges for such truly unimpressive achievements, but then again, it's not like they are dminishing the forum...maybe if there were some really important badges they were tarnishing by association, but there doesn't seem to be.

No, not really.
I appreciate that they're starting to give out badges for zero punctuation as well. All the other shows have had badges since long ago.

The notifications are a side-effect I can deal with.

I don't really care, I just find it really weird that only now have they added ZP related badges. I ended up receiving 7 messages over night I believe.

They aren't that bad, I'm kinda liking them even if they're all being sent at once. I remember ages ago some people wanted ZP badges and now, well, here you go.
They're rather amusing if anything.

I've gotten 7-8 in the last 2 days and I haven't even done anything around here. They seem rather random and not related to my activities on the escapist. To be honest though, I could care less about these badges, they don't serve a purpose and have no monetary value, therefore I could careless, however if others enjoy them then all the more power to them.

Nope. I heart badges! Though I prefer badges that I earned rather than ones that were handed out, like holiday badges or Escapist birthday badges.
