Anyone else sick of getting all these badges?

I like the personality badges more than the acheivement ones, I like to be able to look and see that "person X" in the discussion is fond of Dr Robotnik or prefers Bowser or M Bison. ITs fun.

They are pretty pointless, but that doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the notification messages about them. When I see "1 new message" I check my inbox to see if I've been quoted or someone has actually sent me a message, but no, it's just "you have a new badge".

Now that I've bothered to check, though, you can actually disable badge notifications. Go to your profile and look in "forum and notification options".

I'm the sort of person that goes out of their way to get badges... I'm actually happy when I can't ever get it because then I won't try for it XD

I still want the random Towel Badge My dad got but I didn't I'm a Hitchhiker and he isn't so it still isn't fair XD

I'm rather bothered that I haven't been given more, I've watched all ZP.

Agreed. Not only have I watched all ZP, but I watch them repeatedly. Every day. I've even memorized a few of the lines. And all I got so far was The Gremlin (50 reviews). And I had to watch Painkiller about five times, before they finally sent me Shurikens and Lightning (and I'm not even sure if I got it for Painkiller, cause it showed up after I watched some other random episode).

I like the idea of ZP badges (in fact, I think the next show that should get badges is Extra Credits, and maybe Miracle of Sound too) but so far they don't feel like they're being awarded properly. More like, arbitrarily.

I logged on to find 5 new messages today. My immediate thought was, "Oh boy, here we go, who'd I piss off this time?" and then found they were all badges. I'm really not sure about the soul of a poet one...

Yeah, when I logged in just now, I was like "ooh 5 messages, perhaps some people have been quoting me" but alas it was not the case.

I wish they didn't tell you you got a badge through your inbox. Or if you could turn it off. If you can I don't know how. :/

I wish that they could have more of a description included with them.

So, no, i don't mind getting them. A little late to introduce ZP badges now, but i'm happy for any new badge i can get. Especially ones like these ^_^

I get heaps of badges for reasons I don't even understand. What the hell is CANDY CANDY CANDY or whatever it is for? There are so many other random badges as well.

I don't mind them, I'm just a bit annoyed at how many I have. I would rather have badges "stack," so I didn't have a bunch of them. On the other hand, then a badge with a cool name would disappear if I watched more episodes.
Also, I have a lot of them that I like, and I'm disappointed that we only get to show 4 of them on the forums.

There you are, logging on, and you've got 2 new messages and you think 'oh good, some more discussion going on' only to find you've just got a badge telling you that you've watched 100 zero punctuations. Oh wait, theres another badge. Apparently you've also watched 50 zero punctuations.

If I'm the only one then I'll back down, I'm just saying I'm not too impressed when all these notifications are notifying me about these badges telling me what I already know...

Well, if the messages bother you just go to preferences and turn of badge notifications. That's what I did when they started to annoy me. No badge notification messages, problem solved.
