I'd really like to know, there are some games I'm either one hundred percent done with, or games I just don't care for anymore, shed some light upon me if you will. I thought about selling my stuff, as most could see through my very first thread that got locked due to my impatience and inexperience (I apologise, and I wont do it again). But if anyone could help figure how much I could get off of these couple of games I'd appreciate it!

xbox 360
Gears of War 3 Limited Edition
Super Smash Brows Brawl
Dead or Alive 4
Resident Evil 5
Lost Odyssey
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

GBA
Golden sun

Gamecube
Resident Evil 4

They base it off of the individual game and popularity. You probably won't get much for anything on your list though. The older the game, the less you'll get. The less popular the game, the less you'll get.

They give anywhere from like...10 cents to $25 in credit with the average, I think, ranging from $4-$9.

And they don't publish their trade-in credit unless it's a special case, such as a bonus trade or it's a new game.

If you're going to trade in at all, I would wait until a trade-in bonus day when you get an extra 10%-20%.

Based on what I've gotten for my games, I'll try to approximate for you.

Resident Evil 4: $5
Golden Sun: $2
Gears 3 Limited: $30
Brawl: $10
Dead or Alive 4: $4
Resident Evil 5: $6
Lost Odyssey: $4
Enslaved: $5

And I'm being generous, by the way. You'll be lucky to get that much. Though you could try to capitalize on one of their used game deals. Where you trade in any 3 used games and get half off you're next purchase there. Well, that's generally what they are. There's variations here and there.

They don't take GBA games anymore. You'll just have to go in and see. SSBB is still pretty expensive, so you will get a good amount for that. The GOW Limited will also be a decent amount, but not anywhere near what you paid for it. The rest isn't going to get you much.

You should check out Cheapassgamers to see how much they would be worth at gamestop. That site constantly updates their game values and it would be much more accurate than asking random people on the internet.

Em you present yourself and what you've got and then you bend over and take what they'll give you good or not. Aside from Gamestop fucking you(how do you think they sell so cheap so I am joking with that by the way) the only thing that will get you anything worth talking about is the Gears 3. Everything else is definitely under a tener and I would say under by quite a margin so as Irridium already said if you want to get your moneys worth you are better off waiting for a sale or deal of some description.

Well maybe, because they're doing the "trade in 7 games, get 30% plus trade in value" so I could actually get around that much... I wonder how much they'd give me for a black wireless controller too? Plus I also had Lost Odyssey recently resurfaced so I'm not even sure if they'll accept it (unless I get lucky and I'm dealing with an inexperienced worker). I just hope I can get just enough to get that Ps3 at Gamestop, Black Friday!

Yeah, I've thought about putting Gears 3 on Amazon, however I'm an impatient man and I wanted to find if anyone would be willing to buy it for an understandable price... Might as well sit next to a Gamestop tomorrow with a giant sign over me saying "Gears of War 3 limited Edition 50 dolla!" that's about how much a used one sells on Amazon, just about.

Tried, they didn't have half the games I posted, excluding Enslaved, and Gears of War 3. Which if they didn't post them already shows a bad sign...

Dude, I'm totally afraid because you're right, however I doubt I'm going to find anyone willing to buy my games anytime soon, and I want that Black Friday deal on the Ps3 and I'm like 40$ off right now!

Exactly what I'm doing! Which is why they're conveniently having one right before Black Friday (I wonder why).

Well if you it that badly and you really do not ever want to play SSBB and Gears 3 again those 2 should cover it maybe one other game. Although for one of the games I doubt DoA 4 would even be worth $5 as I got it for ?5 but preowned prices may be different for different countries.

The basic system I've figured is 30% of the title's used price. If they sell GoW3 for 54.99, they'll take it in trade for about 16.50. However, the older the game, the more the value depreciates on a geometric scale. I've traded in games I've only gotten about a dollar for them.
Sadly, while I love Gamestop for the employee's, their prices on trade-ins never really seem fair. What's wrong with 50% the original, new price for a recent(within 6 months) release for a trade, with a 5% depreciation for every 6 months on how old it is down to a minimum of $5 trade-in credit only.

As for what you'll get for yours, I figure about $65-70 not including the trade-in bonus' of any deals or a Power-Ups Rewards card. Also, related video:

That's the thing, I found Gears of war 3 atrocious (for my own personal reasons... plus I won it at a competition thing where I used to live... that took me five minutes to win...) and SSBB got so repetitive in under a week, I started on the hardest difficulty on Adventure mode and it took me three days to beat, I was bored of how unchallenging it was and I don't wish for it's existence any longer... Just a tad, and it depends how long ago you traded it in ago?

No I bought it preowned about 6 months ago so depending on the quality of your disc(yes they have to mark down your money on this even sometimes going into negative figures) so it would not be a big return to trade in DoA 4.

Yeah I figured as much, I just want to part with enough to get enough. I'll probably bring a mess load of my collection. And if worst comes to worse I'll say good bye to some games I love and buy them again in the future. Also figured out about the Limited edition pricing, I might as well give them the freaking case and the game, and keep the rest! They give you accordingly to the regular game price, not the limited Edition... That video made me feel a lot better...

Of course, right? I miss stores like Rhino... the other smaller stores that "didn't" rip you off...

Excuse me, but that's wrong. They can NEVER give you negative anything. If they did, go to the store and sue them right now.
They charge a fee if your disk is messed up, but if the "refurbish" causes the game to be less than $1, they won't take your game.
And you can't really blame them for charging a fee, because at least they're taking nasty, scratched disks.

I don't personally trade in games because I love my babies and I don't want to give them away. I do however, know about the process. So if you're going to tell people about the process, tell them the correct things instead of craziness.

A scratched up DoA4 will still get you money, but instead of $4, maybe you'll get $3. As a customer, would you want a nasty, scratched disk?

That's why if I ever buy a game, I always take good care of it, and they're are a few of my games that I hold dear and wouldn't sell, so I understand that. However I still say they don't give you enough, but at the same time that's how they get their profit... I just want the goddamn ps3 and rid myself of lousy things people told me were supposed to be "amazing".
