Meh, I couldn't care less. I never got into the "Superhero" thing.

I'm from Australia (Brisbane, Queensland) and in the US for college and my longtime girlfriend.

Speaking as an American, I used to not give a crap about the character Captain American. Nothing really struck me as interesting with him, but that was back when I also didn't know that much about him. After seeing the trailer for the movie I can say that from the start of the summer it was the only movie I was actually hyped up about seeing. I really don't think it will matter whether or not you're American on whether you enjoy the movie or not, or at least it shouldn't. Look at it this way, All of Marvel's recent superhero movies (save for Ironman 2 because i didn't like it) were all at the very least entertainable if not good so it's a safe bet that Captain America will also be at the very least entertainable and likely a good movie.

Cap A is colossal dick. He has 0 personality beyond "I must fight for my country. GOD FUCKING BLESS AMERICA... FUCK YEA!"
I take it you have never actually encountered any media involving captain America before these trailers?

I'm from England and never really gave a crap about him until recently. He seems like a very bare-bones superhero as far as powers go which I think would be interesting to see.

...I never understood why stating your country should effect why the idea or your point of view should matter whether based on country. Or are we doing the whole "I'm from (insert country here) so I don't understand why (insert certain subject here" which means if your from said country your automatically excused from not knowing it. Meh. Go with the flow i guess

I am American. And...

Oh yeah.

I'm American and I've always known about Captain America...kinda. I've heard of him and knew what he looked like but...that's as far as that bow rows. The only reason I'd see this movie is for Tommy Lee Jones or Hugo Weaving. I seriously don't care about any of the other characters or the comic book in general.
