I used to watch them here. I really admired everything they said, word from word. However, they broke their morals when it came down to the issue with The Escapist. I thought they'd handle it much better, resolve the conflict and get back running episodes on here.

Nope.

They left... just like that. Sure, it was both parties fault.. yet I can't get over James getting lawyers first thing before even talking this out. Along those lines, I even gave them a shot on Youtube. It's not the same, so I stopped watching them. Yea, you can quote me and defend Extra Credits if you'd like but just know I felt betrayed personally. Just me though, and I know they needed money but just the way they handled that situation... it sort of reflects on how they preach in their videos. Bad impression overall.
That's another reason for me. While it seems like the majority jumped on their side, I feel it was 50/50, if not tiny bit more Jame's fault for making things unclear in the first place. Not only that, but how he took care of the situation also bothered me. I don't blame Allison or Daniel as much as they seemed to be mostly on the side-lines while James took control. But since James is the one writing the episodes, that did effect my desire to actively seek them out again.
Total agreeent here. A lot of people saw the whole "big guy versus little guy" affair while I actually saw the real thing. In that James was pandering to peoples emotions and making himself seem like the injured party while the Escapist basically said "This is how it is" and actually sat down and listed every single thing they did with dates, while James avoided it. So no, I dont want to support someone like that where they purposefully avoid telling the details after going PUBLIC about the whole thing, which the escapist quietly said was something they should not of done.

A seriously un-proffessional move by EC and while I think the actual crew are amazing, James possibly needs to grow up a little and learn how to do things in the business world, since the way he handled that situation was bordering on childish.

Of course. I also check out Checkpoint from time to time. But yeah, Extra Credits is still one of the greatest sources for commentary on the state of video games as an art medium and a social/cultural force, so its moving to a site I don't go to as often was no obstacle for me to watch it.

I can't stand the Penny Arcade comic but I still go to watch their videos, their last one was amazing by the way.
I'm not going to stop watching one of my favorite shows on this site just because it moved, If only they would get to the "RPGs with RPing" episode already, I'm excited for that one.

I watch it every week, I feel a connection to them, and I love to see what they have to say... I actually just watched the new episode.

Uh huh. Of course. PATV has ENN/Checkpoint as well so I was already watching their stuff over there to begin with. Needless to say, it was a pleasant surprise to see Extra Credits show up there.

I know that fault lays on both sides in the issue that caused them to leave the Escapist, but in all honesty, I agree with most of the things they say and the viewpoints they express. So yes, I still watch them.

I won't say "you should too," though, as like any show, even an educational one, what appeals to you and what makes you nauseous is a personal preference. Just because I fall into the former category doesn't mean those of you falling into the latter need to do what I or anybody else says.

Like what you like. Dislike what you don't. And don't be a dick about it.

So far, the only reason I go on PA TV. Call of Juarez the Cartel episode is one of their best ones yet.

I don't see why you wouldn't if you liked them. They had valid and reasonable points in alot of their stuff. And now where they've entered the business of publishing, stuff are really getting exciting. :)

I decided against watching them when it became clear they hadn't actually played Fallout: New Vegas. Didn't put much stock with them after that.

Never really got into it when it was here, just wasn't something that kept me watching, so can't still be watching if I never started.
If you weren't interested in watching it when it was around. And the thread is asking people who did watch it if they are still watching it. Wouldn't a reply like yours be completely redundant?

Actually just watched this episode and was going to make a topic about Extra Credits and saw this thread. This is the ONLY time I have heard him swear in a show and it pretty much put my jaw to the floor.

Hell yes. They used to be the best show on this site. As someone who aspires to develop video games I find their input extremely valuable.

I'll be the one person to say I could never watch it because of the annoyingly nasaly voice of the narrator.

like he had a damn kazoo jammed up his nose at the very moment his testicles dropped.

I was still going to Penny Arcade to watch them for a little while. But then I just got side tracked and forgot about em.

Weird that it was bleeped considering Penny Arcade drops the F-bomb frequently enough.
