Hmmm, well my birthday was August 9th. I can't remember anything interesting happening on that day while I have been alive. The atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki on August 9th, 1945 I suppose, which is pretty depressing to think about.

My birthdays miraculously coincide with me getting really drunk.

Other than that... Not really, at least nothing recently. Last year Helmet played where I live, and the year before Kyuss played. No one good this year, but hopefully next year there'll be someone great on again. I share a birthday with Black Francis, Zach Braff, Roy Mayorga and Billy Dee Williams, which is pretty cool.

I know that feel, my date of birth was the same day the Rwandan Genocide started.

My birthday is only three days after Valentines and 11 after my older brother's. It's been a very long time since I've tried to make it an event of major significance, or anyone else making it super special. I haven't cared to, nor made others think it should

That all said, I would love to have a huge birthday party with presents and such. Therefore, I ought to help others have huge awesome birthday parties.

As far as personal stuff I usually just try to go out & have a good time, which I might actually get to do this year. Hopefully I can convince my lady friend to join me this year, make it a really good night.

I'm a July 4th baby, and also American. So I get fireworks and barbecues for about a week straight.

I just so happen to dislike both fireworks AND barbecues.

Happy birthday, OP. My birthday happens to fall on September 11, which probably needs no explanation.

On April 19, 1775, the American Revolution kicked off.

And of marginally greater importance, on April 19, 1986, the world received its lord and savior.

Well, my birthday is the day Hitler killed himself. It's also the birthday of two actors on The Big Bang Theory.

28th of Feb. Nothing terribly big. I do get the honour of saying the Prestonsburg, Kentucky Bus disaster occurred in 1958 killing 26 kids and 1 bus driver making it the second worst bus disaster in US history but that's about it.

Oh, and the 228 massacre in Taiwan killing 30000 (roughly) and the discovery of the word "dord" as a mistake in a dictionary.
