Or how about the fact that his casting had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS OR HIS SKIN COLOUR, and was simply down to the fact that he was the best actor shortlisted for the role. Why does a black actor being cast in a role suddenly have to be about them being black? I would have thought that out of those two, 'actor' is the key word, and the one that whoever was casting for the role would have been considering.Hagenzz said:That's just as retarded as Tom Cruise being the Last Samurai.
Goddamn political correctness bullshit. I didn't even know what there was a movie being made until I clicked this thread, and I can honestly say I'm not interested anyway, black Heimdall or not.
But PC has always pissed me off to no end.
What's next, a movie of the founding fathers of the US with one of them being played be a black dude and another by an indian? Can't go around offending people's delicate little feelings can we? Pfeh. Bullshit.
If they had wanted a black actor just so they could say they had a black actor, they would have cast Eddie Murphy rather than take a risk with a virtual unknown. No, the only reason to do something like that is if the virtual unknown in question is damn goo at his job.
