Disclaimer: Psycho is a term that does not necessarily apply to sociopathic tendencies. It simply means a disconnect from reality.

"In contemporary culture, the term "psychotic" is often incorrectly used interchangeably with "psychopathic" or "sociopathic", which actually describe a propensity to engage in violently antisocial behaviors and does not usually involve hallucinations or delusions."

No they have ruined my plan to make an army of super powered children using Warhammer 40k!
If only it wasn't for that meddling blogger and his dog...

How can anyone believe that dribble? Does he believe then that the shit that goes on in films are teaching us on how we should behave and all that crap? Good god, his head is extremly up his ass.

EDIT: Good god, is this what humanity has produced? I thought we came a long way from such ignorance.

Whoever provided the sperm to conceive such a person should be ashamed of themselves.
i agree with everything you say there i couldnt have put it better myself

Wow, I just read the guys blog and he clearly doesn't get that *maybe* just *maybe* the amoral nature of the Space Marines is an intended undertone of the game - you know, intended to add flavor to the setting? No, it must be a clever ploy to make kids accept being transformed into pro-Israel super soldiers. (Seriously, the guy implies this. He's nuts.)

Obviously, because the game uses figurines, it's intended to brainwash children.
they often say that insanity is borderline genius this time its just plain insanity

meh, pretty much anything that kids do these days will make them murder someone and eat babies according to paranoid parents.

Pity really, I wanted to ask him where he got that idea from. Politely. Ah well. Can waste them five minutes on something cooler then. Like finishing my damn command squad.

That, and it's also to question why we follow the Imperium ways. If you read into the lore and everything like that you'll think that perhaps the Imperium are not the good guys after all.

The closest race that I can see as a viable moral race would be the Tau. They believe in peace and "The Truth". They prefer diplomacy before war and they have several races underneath their council. They help each other and each one is a valuable and equal member.
I don't really know much about Warhammer, but this is what you get when people who aren't genre savy make unqualified judgments. They miss the subtle commentary. It's like sarcasm to a robot.

Ha love this article and all the flaws present in it. The emperor isn't truely dead they just need to sacrafice 1000s of psykers to him to keep him alive to allow the ships to be guided through the warp..... lol

as for the space marines being wrong... of course they are they should have given themselves over to chaos back when horus was around and gotten way better mutations and dark gifts.

lol anyways all kidding aside they are clearly talking out of their ass. Hopefullyone day stupidity like this will be culled from the human gene pool.

I'm vaguely amused by the fact he chose to criticise the Space Marines for their brutality.

I'm a Dark Eldar player.

Wow lol this guy has issues. Seriously I'm so tired of people bagging games, table top or whatever based on the theory that it trains children to kill and all that bullshit. Children thats the key word there, but wait oh yeah the average age of the gamer is something closer to 29 (don't hold me to that it's probably changed but you get the idea) which means, oh shit, kids aren't playing all these violent games ADULTS are. I don't know any kid under 15 (highest rating for a game in Australia is MA15+) with an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3 (Unless it belongs to an older sibling or parent) all these kids own Wii's and we all know exactly how many hardcore games are available on the Wii.

These people think they're experts when really they know shit all. Perfect example are my own parents, I would happily be playing a game and one of them would come upstairs and yell at me to turn it off. Now I don't respond well to abuse, so I'd usually say something along the lines of "no" or "why" the whole thing would then turn into a screaming contest and I would get accused of having problems and being unstable (due to video games), yet they were the ones who would start it all.

So I'm not even going to bother to read this entire thing, I'll just dismiss it for the crap that I know it is.

Since when do young children play tabletop war games? Do they even have the patience? I don't think I have the fucking patience. Also: This guy is a prick, ignore him.

Its gotta be for a laugh. No way that can be real
From the article said:
I am not even a religious person,
but this
[Angels of Death] offends even me.

In what way do Angels have anything in common with superhuman genetically modified killing machines?
Not only would that sentence sound ludicrous to anyone who read it back to themselves, but for someone who has supposedly researched their stuff, they might be aware that is a strong link between Angels and superhuman killing machines

"Uriel means "Fire of God", or "Light of God" (III Esdras 3:1, 5:20). He is depicted holding a sword against the Persians in his right hand, and a fiery flame in his left."

No, superhuman killing machine would be a very inaccurate description for Angels.

There's a hundred other inconsistencies in that page alone, enough to make me think hes either trolling or its a stealth parody.

EDIT: And yes, if he was being serious, he would have picked Chaos or Dark Eldar to criticize. Death in the name of the Emperor is nothing to a range of models that are instructing young children to spear their foes as battle trophies, or worship their dark god through ritualistic pleasure orgies of violence and sex and drugs and depravity and mayhem.

That would make a much better rant if he was actually outraged =)
