You know, as someone who has an unfortunate habit of starting conversations on public transport, I've met my fair share of conspiracy nuts. I've come to find them entertaining, not actually threatening or insulting. PS: Re: "I'm glad he didn't look at Dark Eldar," I think he chose the Imperium because they are the nominal (but not actual) 'good guys'. In other words, if 40k were actually espousing some sort of morality the Imperium would likely represent it, being the protagonist race.
