"We don't have to leave right after you get done cleaning." Micah said to his room-mate as she took her empty plate to the sink.

Micah finished his own meal, humming softly at how good it was, and brought it over to her. He dug around in the pantry, and found an empty tupperware container to store the leftovers in. He put those in the refrigerator for later nomming.

"If you want to, you can change your clothes if you wanna wear something else to the party." Mookie told his room-mate. "Take your time if you need to get ready."

Kiska cleaned off her's and her room-mate's plates, and started cleaning the pots and pans. "It is no problem to me when we leave." She cleaned off the last of the dishes, and began putting them back where she saw Micah take them out. "It can be right after these last things, or later.

"And do you think I should wear something else?" She finished cleaning the kitchen, and looked down at what she was wearing. A black T-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, and her huge coat that was draped over the back of a chair. She wouldn't be winning any beauty pageant, but she wore what was comfortable and practical. "I could leave my coat, I don't want it to get dirty, but should I dress more formally? Or do you think that I'm not dressed well?"

Susan listened with interest as he talked about the pendant. "That's kinda cute, actually. I don't have a lucky charm of my own, I'm lucky enough as is. Just being alive is lucky in and of itself, wouldn't you agree?"

Susan took a sip from her Sprite she almost forgot she had. "You said you were learning how to play the guitar, right? I assume you own one yourself. What kind is it?"

"No, I think you look fine." Micah said to her, reassuring her. "I just didn't know if you were one of those girls who liked to dress up for parties or not. What you wear is completely up to you."

Micah smiled at her and winked, letting her go back to the dishes as he turned and made his way towards the bathroom.

"I'm gonna take a shower, though." He said to her, informing her of his plan. "I won't be long. Oh, and no peeking... Unless you really want to."

"People at the party will probably be too drunk to remember tonight anyway. I think I will keep what I have on," Kiska said. "To be honest, I probably wouldn't dress up anyway. I'm not a big fan of dresses and the like. This is more comfortable."

She went back to the cleaning as Micah left to the shower, "I should be done by the time you get out of the shower, then we can go if you want." Kiska couldn't help but laugh at his last comment, "I will keep that in mind, my friend. Of course, I expect the same privacy when I'm in there. Unless, as you say, you really want to."

"Hope I can handle it?" Connor said to Anya with a big grin. "You don't know crazy yet, girl."

He stuck his tongue out at her, wondering if it would be a good idea to bring her along to a rave at some point. But he didn't want to say that now, and was sure he wouldn't have to as he was quickly pulled along by her.

"Hi Trisha!" he said, giving her a quick hug. "Nice to meet you."

"Two guitars, actually. One acoustic, one electric, and I can play both pretty well," Gabriel replied. "I take care of both of them; no sense in letting them get damaged or worn out. The acoustic is a Seagull S6, a present from my mother for passing my first set of high-school exams. Not bad for a low-priced instrument. My electric guitar, though... that took me years to save for, and I had to save on my own. It's an Ibanez model, an SV-54-70-F. That baby is certainly something, let me tell you. If you want, I suppose I can give a brief demonstration of each of them." He blushed slightly at the offer, not sure about performing for a one-person audience. Crowds, he was fine with.

"Well Claudette, its good to meet..." Joshua trailed off as his tequila affected brain tried to put two pieces together, which with the amount of liquor he had consumed, was proving to be a minor difficulty, "Bellerose, I knew a Bellerose back in New York, junior high before I transferred to a private school; if I recall we were friends back then," he paused one more time before finally deciding to just go with it, "You wouldn't happen to know the name Joshua Richardson would you?"

Trisha smiled as Tori walked past her still dancing in the middle of the floor. Looking around her hair slowly loosening as she almost had to put her glasses in her purse to make sure they didn't fall from her face. Grinning slightly when she noticed Tori go back to her boyfriend and say something to him but she wasn't paying much attention since her new friend Anya was introducing her to someone. Nodding towards him not expecting the hug she had almost leaned back slightly before it clicked in her mind.

Hmm...That hug was actually a bit, well, feminine. No matter well see how his is.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Conner."

"So that means I can watch?" Micah said with a giggle as he walked into his bedroom, stripping down to nothing and grabbing his towel.

He walked out with his towel around his waist, covering his junk until he was in the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind him. Hanging the towel on the closet door, he turned the hot water on. He watched as it flowed from the showerhead, steam rising up from the tub and fogging the mirror.

He began to scrub himself thoroughly, then ran some shampoo through his hair to get it clean. Finally, the conditioner, to keep it soft and healthy. Many guys didn't use conditioner, but he liked keeping his hair in good condition.

After about ten minutes, he turned the water off and walked back out of the bathroom, towel draped around his shoulders, walking back into his bedroom and getting dressed.

"Joshua Richardson..", Claudette repeated quietly. His name was familiar and so was his face. It took her a while, but she eventually put the pieces together. They used to be friends, hanging out almost everyday. But one day he just disappeared and she never heard from him again. It hurt, at first, but eventually she got over it and moved on with her life. She really had no other choice.

"I remember you. We met in Mrs. Harper's math class. I can't believe it.. Its been so long. What happened to you? You just.. disappeared one day and no one heard from you."

"If you really want to." Kiska said, smiling. She starting singing Blue Moon again as she cleaned the rest of the kitchen, silently hoping that Micah wouldn't be too bothered by her singing. She loved that song, and it sounded better in Russian, so she sang it in the language.

Her mother would play it on an old record player as Kiska was growing up. Every day, while her mother cleaned, she played that song, and it was only fitting for Kiska to sing it now that she had cleaning to do.

Her mind wandered as she cleaned and sang, and before she knew it, the kitchen was spotless. Wow. I know why Mother played that song while cleaning...

She could hear Micah's shower still running, so she went back into her room to get ready to leave. Kiska remade the ponytail in her hair, and decided to stick with the clothing she was wearing.
She reurned to the kitchen to put the large green coat on once again. Just for the sake of appearances, she rolled up the sleeves of the coat so her hands were visible, but the bottom still was near ankle level.

Kiska heard the shower turn off, and the bathroom door open. She sat in a chair and waited until Micah was ready to go, quietly humming to herself.

A small flicker of anger crossed over Joshua's face as he remembered why he had been taken so suddenly, it had been time for him to be groomed into a businessman and that meant he had to be separated from the rabble and placed in a Private Academy in another state, "You can thank my father for that one, I tried to write to everyone I was friends with back then, but they never sent them; didn't want a corrupting force in our studies," he scoffed and the smile was back on his face like it had never left, "But it doesn't matter anymore, it'll be nice to hang out again; really awesome that we ended up seeing each other again."

Joshua saw the dancefloor was starting to get even more crowded and he smiled at the two in front of him, "Well the beats are going, you boys and girls care to join me on the dancefloor?"

Susan listened with interest and a smile as Gabriel told her about his guitars. She giggled at his slight blush. "Sure, I'd love to hear you play them both. Not at the same time, of course." She giggled again. "Maybe I can give you a demonstration of my singing in return? I'd be more than happy to." She had fun singing, having done so a lot in her teenage years, and she was usually praised for her singing because of how good it was.

"Wow, your a New-yorker too? I was born in Manhattan!" said Lance with a smile, taking a drink from his beer and shifting slightly closer to his companion. Whilst he understood that Claudette was free and not seeing anyone, Lance couldn't help but feel a little annoyed at Joshua's 'swooping'. Still, he had been nice enough to host this great party for them and they did have a history, so if anything were to happen, Lance wouldn't interfere.

Of course, that didn't mean he'd give up.

"Fancy a dance Claudette?"

When Josh spoke about his father his attitude certainly changed. He seemed bitter, resentful. Claudette knew a little bit about his father, but not much. Josh had always avoided talking about him by changing the subject when they were younger.

"Yeah, we should hang out soon. It'll be nice to catch up and see how much we've changed. You definitely got taller", Claudette said jokingly.

"And I would love to dance with you, Lance. Though I have to admit I'm not a very good dancer."

"All right, sure," Gabriel answered, before remembering that he had already set up his electric guitar and its amp. "Um, the Ibanez is all set up in my room and suchlike, so it'd be easier if I played in there. You don't mind, do you?" With a shake of the head from Susan, Gabriel said, "All right then," and led the way, holding the door open for her once he had passed through himself.

Soon enough he had the support strap of his electric guitar over one shoulder, and the amp was switched on and emitting a faint humming noise.

"So, um... any requests? Any songs you know that you think I might?" he asked, tossing a neon-blue guitar pick from one hand to the other and back again.

Micah walked out clean and dressed, his hair still a bit damp, but it would dry on the way to the party. He looked into the kitchen and saw that it was spotless. A good sign, he thought.

"Alright, I'm ready to go." Micah said to Kiska when he saw her sitting down and waiting for him to be ready. He smiled down at her, and shook his hair a bit to loosen it up so it would dry faster. "Shall we go in separate vehicles, or do you want me to drive?"

Connor let Trisha out of the embrace, stumbling back a step due to the alcohol in him. He laughed a bit as he regained his balance and started dancing again. The person behind him that he bumped into didn't seem to notice.

"So are you in the dorms here, too?" he asked his new acquaintance, "Or did you just get the invitation?"

"I doubt you're worse than me" said Lance with a grin, as he lightly and unintrusively as he could, put his hand on Claudette's upper back and led her to the dance floor, finishing the remainder of his beer as he did so, hoping the alcohol, however little there was, would give him some Dutch courage and get him dancing.

For while he wasn't exactly all arms and legs on the floor, he wasn't exactly Michael Jackson either.
