Er... I consider myself a gentleman... that is... I try to be polite and respectful to others unless they give me good reason not to treat them that way (like if they are total douchebags for instance).

I open doors and treat everyone equally with respect - of-course the fact I am not socially attractive means 'I'm just a pervert' If girls didn't contradict themselves maybe there would be more.

Any time I land a date, I will pick up the tab on the first outing, after that it is a matter worthy of discussion. I will continue to open doors and the like unless my date protests on some feminist grounds.

But, I will say it's easier to land a date when I'm a terrible mood than when I'm being nice. I don't quite know that this indictes about me or the world I live in but I think it's probably something worthy of investigation.

its not dead, I've always been around and I have no intention of leaving. and aside from my tendency to partake of porn(which makes me abit shallow) when not in a relationship I treat all women with the utmost respect, so long as they don't be bitches when I try to do chivalrous things like open doors for them, and compliment them

With that said and done, I try my best to be a gentleman, but so many girls nowadays just find that stuff to be a joke.

Supply and demand, my friend.

I've once been described as a "Jackass with a heart of Gold" by one of my lady-friends. Thinking about that, I can't really disagree. I'll joke, point out grammar flaws, and generally engage in good-natured ribbing with girls I'm good friends with. I'll also be the first to hold a door, pay for dinner, and give up my seat on a bus for my female associates. I always try to be the first person anyone can count on when they need me. Having to put up with me when the mood is good is just a trade-off. ;)
