I own a cat and the only people I can think of who are manlier than me are Mr. T and Rosie O'donnel. *Benches a truck full of lions guns and explosives*

Nah, cat's are as manly as a dog. I certainly wouldn't want to piss one off, especially since one nearly gave my Mom blood poisoning by mauling her hand. Coincedentally, that same cat has been living with us for 8 years.

Cats are intelligent, good looking, nice smelling (when they're kittens) independent and hard as nails. Dogs are daft, smelly, salivating testosterone machines. In the past it was generally considered that cats were for women and dogs were for men, but in a society in which a metrosexual dude can beat the fuck out of a macho man and get laid twice a day, i'd say none of that really matters.
P.S If all cats were the same size as all dogs, the dogs would NEVER win fights.

What's so unmanly about cats? They're independent, more self-sufficient than dogs, very good predators, and come in giant varieties in the wild.

The only way I could see an accusation of non-masculinity would come from a guy who doesn't appreciate an animal who won't submit to his ego.
Holy cow, it is So cool you said this XD

Yhea, dogs are more obedient and less independent than cats.

Therefore, more emasculating but less manly.

I think they might be a little bit unmanly, but who cares, cats kick ass! And anyone who's ever seen a kitten knows that they are probably the best thing in existence.

Your cat does seem quite manly. In fact, it may even defy the laws of manliness and become neuter. Somethings are so badass that they become asexual... perhaps this is how they neutered it.
Does that mean Chuck Norris is neuter? /bad Chuck Norris joke
But the sweetest thing is, he's such a sweetheart. He hops in your lap, and sleeps next to you, and (well, it's not really purring) he purrs, sort of. Purring is a domestic animal's reaction to kindness, and since he wasn't domestic or shown any kindness he didn't know how to purr.
He protected our blind cat when a dog tried to take a bite out of it. He ran over, slashed the dog's face, and chased it off the property.

If I knew how to put images up, I'd show you a picture of him. He does look pretty badass. Scars, and a mangled ear, and he never stops glaring.

Perhaps you are right about Chuck Norris. He may have become an it. We may need to refer to him as Chuck Norrum.... yes, latin AND Chuck Norris in one joke. I'm not getting laid ANYtime soon.

And your cat sounds lovely... Ferocious and brutal, but lovely.
