According to some census information I fetched from http://www.geohive.com/earth/pop_gender.aspx, there are more than 4 million more females than males in the United States. If there are more of them, then there should be more females than males doing X under most circumstances. If you were to argue that the ratio of female college graduates was greater than that of male graduates, than I would give you some other ratios. For instance, there are many manual labor jobs which need filled. For instance, females have around 7% more body fat, yet on average weight 30 pounds more? This can mean several things, like larger bones and muscles for moving objects. Obviously when you consider that men are tailored to be the workhorses of society, men are more preferred for manual labor jobs, which unsurprisingly do not require a college degree. This is one of many points which is obviously overlooked that I feel detract from the point of the debate itself.
The main problem, which makes this debate seem less intellectually based, is that it already seems skewed to one side instead of being a neutral hosting body. It very clearly insinuates that women are already very dominant, when statistically, that does not appear to be the case. For instance, about 27% of men are college grads while about 29% of women are. That's not an impressive difference considering men still make on average 20% more than women in the US. Additionally, for every mindless past-time enjoyed by males, there are counterparts for females, and are making up a greater percentage of inmate population compared to the past rates.
The information is horribly skewed in order to drum up publicity for a debate, but it has a negative effect from my perspective. If anything, there is a greater trend towards equality of the sexes, and not dominance of either party.

At least it made me verify something I already knew. Men are fine, L2P.
