I've been playing SWTOR since launch and I love it.

I feel as though the game offers nothing of personal interest after the main class story is complete and you've reached max level. I'm on my 3rd class story now and plan to quit my subscription after the 3 month period expires.

I'll likely renew the subscription either upon of several major content patches adding dozens of hours of gameplay (of which we've had nothing big since launch), or possibly an expansion.

In the case of GW2, it has the benefit of my continuous play because of non-subscription model. Sure I'll probably put the game down for long stretches like Oct, Nov, Dec when other games come out. But unlike TOR, I'll actually revisit GW2 since I don't have to pay to do so come Jan 2013.

You forget the robot he uses to talk to his employees while working from home and his collection of several hundred antique automatons.

But, well, i've watched some interviews with him last year and he talked about things that are pretty close to my heart like non-combat roles in MMOs, interaction with the world, complex morality systems, the accessibility that browser games and F2P models provide.

I'm pretty sure anything he makes would contribute more to the genre than yet another WoW clone.
He also talked about integrating the next big MMO into social media and making it playable on iPhones. The last thing he worked on was a poker game for Facebook. Again, I will never stop heaping praise on the Ultima series, but I think it's time we seriously consider that Richard Garriott is not the same guy he was 20-30 years ago.

And dude, really...it HURTS me to say this. I want a reboot of Ultima in the worst way imaginable. I'd love for Richard Garriott to still be sane and competent. I'm just not seeing any evidence that this is the case.

I know a lot of guys who are trying to sell their Origin profiles because they grew tired of the game after a month. I'm not sure how popular the game is in the rest of the world.
