Our cat died of epilepsy about 6 months ago.

Considering the luck that cat had during her lifetime I'm surprised she just went up and died of epilepsy. I guess she wasn't immortal after all... But those were a good 12 years.
I really miss that annoying, attention-craving snooty furball :)

My dog Deirdre is still alive after 15 years. I think it's because she drinks our pool water. It must be the secret key to doggy immortality.
You're pool is the fountain of youth!

I havn't actually had any pets die in a while, but in Feburary my hamster and guinie pig died within a few days of each other.

Well I can tell you right off this thread will lead you to believe it's happening everywhere - people who have had a pet die recently will be the ones to see and respond.. others will pass it over for the most part. Thus you get a bunch of 'me too' replies despite the vast majority not reading the thread or replying if they do.

As proof.. well that's the only reason I clicked it. My dog is being put down this friday. It sucks :(.
