No.
They'll probably never create another game as brilliantly versatile as Neverwinter Nights, but they don't make "bad games" either. While there's no such thing as a "perfect" game, BioWare has games that do different things well.

I've never played the Sonic game. I didn't care for the combat system in Jade Empire (the PC port), but it was still done very well otherwise.

You're quite right on KotOR not aging well. I played through it again a couple months ago and it was not a pleasant experience. Just thinking about the number of mechanics that could/have been expanded upon, the graphical updates, many elements that now seem standard in RPGs that are strangely absent in KotOR. I do still love the story though.....

Does Bioware have any "bad" games? Not in my opinion, no. I would say Dragon Age is my least favourite but it is not bad, just lacking in comparison.

KOTOR was the only one I liked, and upon a second playthrough several years later, I found that I didn't even like that very much. Besides that I've played through KOTOR 2, Jade Empire, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect, and didn't really like any of them. None of them were bad (except Jade Empire), but they just felt so average.
Alright, I know BG2 is old, but if you've played through that many BioWare titles, you really ought to give it shot.

Sonic Chronicles might be the "worst," but it's still a very good game overall.

Sonic Chronicles.
I'd just like to say, for the defense of sonic chronicles:

Bioware took a character who, for his entire decade+ career, has been solely based off of how fast he is, and how fast his games are. And it is a widely held opinion that the slower the games have gotten, and the more side characters who are included, the quality of those games decline. With this in mind, Bioware made a Sonic ROLE PLAYING GAME, what is usually considered the slowest and most strategic of genres, which also focus more on character development, to what is essentially the antithesis of what Sonic has stood for, for so many years.

The result of this oxymoron? Really not that bad. Consider that for a moment, if you will.
I actually kinda liked SC:DB. It wasn't as good as most of their titles but as NickCaligo42 said look at the subject matter. Further, some of the dialog is really charming--and the premise takes itself further than the OC of NWN1 did.

Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age Origins
Neverwinter Nights
Knights of the Old Republic
Yep..These I found awful.
Awful? Only if you played these games in Bizarroworld. Okay... TBH, I haven't played ME2 yet, but I somehow doubt I'd call it awful.

Anyway nothing BioWare has done since holds a candle to BG2. Which makes me a little sad.
That's like being disappointed that Van Gogh never did anything as good as Starry Night again.
LOL! I know, I know... that's why I said "a little sad" instead of just "sad"--maybe "slightly sad" would have been better. The sadness comes mostly from playing through their other titles and always realizing that BG2 is better.

I really don't care that much for them. I've played Dragon Age: Origins and it's alright, and I've played Mass Effect and it's also alright... I've heard Mass Effect 2 fixes all the problems I had with the first, though.

Also, Bioware made Baldur's Gate. How can you not like them?
Quite easily actually. Especially considering that Baldur's Gate is one of my most hated games.

On topic: Knights of the Old Republic I didn't particularly like either, and my mate that played through Mass Effect 1 and 2 and loves them got rid of his copy of Dragon Age not long after getting it because he hated it.

I didn't care much for Jade Empire, but it wasn't really bad.

I like all other Bioware games I've played though.

My opinion, based on playing them:

Mass Effect was too boring to get through even once. Played on Veteran, played like a really badly controlled third-person-shooter, even as an Adept.

Also, I didn't like Neverwinter Nights. The base campaign, anyway. Got the diamond edition and messed around with it before they apparently killed my CD-key. Now it's non-functioning for no apparent reason.

And due to not beating Mass Effect, I'm not going to play Mass Effect 2, so that's a null from me.

Sonic RPG kinda... failed. I tried to play it, but it was slow and just bland.

I hate morrowind. I hate Icewind Dale. I hate oblivion. I hate Dragon Age. I had mild distatse for the KoTR series, mainly because of the shitty ending. I liked Neverwinter Nights. I hated NWN 2. Love Mass Effect 1&2. Love the Baulders Gate Stuff.

It's all a matter of opinion really. so ... Go play all of them and form your own.

Neverwinter Nights and Baldurs Gate. I rejoiced when they announced that Dragon Age 2 was not going to be like that this time around.

No I don't feel like they made a bad game, just some games that don't appeal to people. For example I loved Dragon Age origins. The choices, characters, story, gameplay, everything appealed to me. I've beaten it about 5 or 6 times now. But my friend hates the game, instead he loved ME2. I think ME1 was a terrific game, but ME2 just paled in comparison. The story was just so weak, and I felt like Mass Effect was all about the story and how the characters move through it.

I'm not sure if I'd classify KOTOR as a 'bad' RPG, but it definitley had a crap start, KOTOR 2 was not alot better either.

Yes I realize that. The Sands of Time came out that year also and I think it has aged better than KotOR, graphically speaking that is.

I didn't really enjoy Mass Effect 2, it was very bland and linear, and didn't make use of a lot of things like the broken down Reaper, all we figured out from going there was that they had a glowy reactor in the center... fun.

I'm just not a fan of the original Neverwinter Nights. It's more an issue with the engine than the story they were trying to tell, really. I hate it when I feel like I'm fighting the game.

Am I the only person who noticed that BioWare is specifically not making the same game over and over because they know some people want Fantasy RPG's and some people want Sci-fi action oriented shooters with deep stories? In a sane world people wouldn't even compare the two since they have very little in common.

I think I am in the minorest of minorities since every BioWare product is like crack-cocaine to me.

Jade Empire and Neverwinter Nights are probably their poorest showings but only because I didn't like the gameplay and I still finished them both. Minor quibbles.

Morrowind and oblivion were from bethesda and I'm pretty sure Icewind dale was atari. KotOR 2 was from obsidian.

I got Dragon Age Origins about a month ago. I've never played another BioWare game, but I don't like this game very much. I figure that since the game seems to be focused on story that it should have a very good one. Yet, I can't seem to find a good story in yet another world that seems ripped off of Lord of the Rings.
Yet again I will ask the question. Why does everyone act like things didn't exist before Tolkien? He didn't invent elves, dwarves, dragons or any of those other things.
