I live in Texas so every so often they find a coyote with a severe case of mange and suddenly the news is all about El Chupacabra! I still can't believe this makes the news let alone has made it on the news 3 times in the last couple of years.

The Silver Haunt, which lives in the old artworks factory up the street from me,It sits in a window unresponsive, near where a Silver Paintcan was left boiling to clean it out. Started a fire killing the director. I.E. a ghost is seen in her old office, which is now a windowed canvas drawing room.

Well, there is a Big K-Mart on the other side of town...

Oh, wait, you meant "biological creatures," didn't you? Yeah, no, nothing in Florida. The only thing worth mentioning will drown you and eat your slowly rotting carcass, if it doesn't separate you from one of your precious limbs. If only alligators were a mythical creature...

Yep, there's supposedly a big ass dog around here. As in, bears would piss themselves if they came across him. Some stupid Viking legend.

Just kidding, I live in Hungary. Non-stereotypical politicians colud count, though.

I've actually heard of a suprising amount of myths about my area, i've just never really paid attention to them. I live in Staffordshire in England, maybe someone here knows more than i do.

There's definitely a lot of areas that are incredibly eerie.

Oh actually there is one place not too far from me that's supposedly quite famous for having a crapton of sightings. It's a forest that looks absolutely immense, i saw an image once and it looked like some fantasy painting. There's a myth that it's some kind of portal to another world because of those 2 reasons.
I can't remember it's name though, it's worth finding just to see how awesome the forest looks.

Wow! He's really cool. You draw him?

On topic, I live in Nova Scotia. No one here has had free time since the industrial revolution. Hell, even the hunters just shoot what isn't wearing Walmart attire and immediately begin dicing. Time is money!

So no one has noticed anything supernatural here since the invention of the television. Even pirate ghosts are mostly ignored, or at best have candy thrown at them.

Oh! Someone saw some lights over the Atlantic in Shelbourne once.

Not that I know of.

We do have Fisher Cats though, they sound as scary as hell at night, sort of like someone screaming. And my aunt had a mountain lion in her backyard before. I don't think it was supposed to be there because she lives just outside of Boston.

Here. Some people say they're foxes, but a lot of people don't have fishers where they live, and they both sound similar. The screech is much much worse in person at 3 am.

Supposedly Sasquatch has been sited in my state, but I think the story goes that he's in Washington. I'm honestly not sure, but I have heard stories about people supposedly seeing him in the forest and such.

"Champ is the name given to a reputed lake monster living in Lake Champlain, a natural freshwater lake in North America, partially situated across the U.S.-Canada border in the Canadian province of Quebec and partially situated across the Vermont-New York border. While there is no scientific evidence for the cryptid's existence, there have been over 300 reported sightings. The legend of the monster is considered a draw for tourism in the Burlington, Vermont area.

Like the Loch Ness Monster, while most regard Champ as legend, others have speculated it is possible such a creature does live deep in the lake, possibly a relative of the plesiosaur, an extinct group of aquatic reptiles."
