Are there any video game with a female as the MAIN villain ?

Sin, System Shock, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 (sort of), Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Tomb Raider, Portal.

I'm sure I know others, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

For one, I'm surprised it took 28 people to mention MGS 3. Kudos to you for mentioning one of the most iconic female antagonists in gaming (in my opinion, anyways).

Secondly, what do you mean sort of? Just curious....

Because, while she's certainly an antagonist, she's not REALLY a villain. Semantics, I know.

Every Silent Hill game except The Room and Shattered Memories but I don't think Shattered Memories really had a antagonist.

Origins and Homecoming didn't have females as the main antagonists either. And as I stated in my post (I posted about Silent Hill then saw you had posted about it too), I don't think that Silent Hill 2's main antagonist is Mary, even though she is the final boss. James is fighting himself through the entire game, and the boss commonly referred to as "Mary" is really just a manifestation of his evil, of his wrongdoings.

I'm sorry. I don't know how to do the SPOILER cover up thingys in the forum. Someone could totally respond to my post with instruction so I don't spoil AWESOME GAMES in the future. (just saiyan...)

I thought the only antagonist in homecoming would be Judge Holloway unless you count Josh or Alex as the antagonist. Origins I'm not sure about I only watched my ex play it through.
