Know here is a question to you members of the Escapist whom actually read this.

What would you do if someone from your friend list would just suddenly come knocking on the door of your home?.

I personally would welcome them to my humble abode and offer them something to drink. Then engage in some intellectual conversation.

I guess I'd let them in and we'd chat or hang out? But how would I know that it's not a complete stranger? I've never seen your faces before.

I wouldn't let them in the house, because honestly, I don't know anybody here, and if they showed up at my house I would be very suspicious.

I'm not THAT paranoid, but it wouldn't sit well with me.

I'd be weirded out for a moment.
And then I might recover. Depending on who it was.
But in case I was at home, I'd invite them to play games.
It's all I really do...other than stay here.
And it's not fun to watch people post.

You're far more trusting/naive than I.

If someone found out my address and tracked me down, I'd be rather creeped out.

I would probably knock them over with shock with a little-too-friendly hug before asking them to come in and hang out for a bit. We could just grab a drink and shoot the breeze, or game, or come right back here...

Depends on who it is. If it's Neon, run the hell away. And hide my nukes.
Anyone else, I'll probably have a chat with.

Depends on the friend; I'd try to become close real life friends with NeutralDrow or talk to Suiseisuki IRL about her parents if it's not uncomfortable. In general, though, I'd just invite them in and be friendly with them.

Since we're friends on Facebook, I'd wonder how you'd react to me showing up.

My friends, you say?

Oh, is that you, Fat Man Spoon? Well come on in! Want to have some tea? Wait, someone else is at the door. Oh, it's fogmike! Welcome to my humble apartment, sit down! What's that? Someone's knocking again? Oy, it's the Aussies! G'day, mates! And who is it now? SharPhoe, man! Glad to have you here. Now... *knock knock* who is this? Ah, it's the communist dudes! Privyet, tovarischi!

Now that you all here, we can begin to act out our plan of WORLD DOMINATION! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I have only half-decent people on my friends list.

I would much rather have a mutual agreement in advance to meet face to face rather than some stranger show up on my door. Though I might freak a bit I wouldn't be hostile or anything.

Essentially this.

I'd probly get weirded out and ask why and how the fuck they tracked me down. If they had a decent explanation and didn't seem delusional, I'd probably let them hang out for a bit, but I'd remain a little cautious.
EDIT:
Also, was I the only one who clicked on this expecting another relationship thread? (are we just friends?)

No friends. I'm so popular. Nice grammar, buddy.

But if this were to apply to Facebook, I wouldn't care seeing as I only add people I know. I hate people who are friends with anybody who requests it and they never even talk. I know people with HUNDREDS of friends on facebook and other networks like it, very annoying, but maybe I hate it because I don't have it. I don't think so, but whatever.

It depends on who it is. I'd likely be very, very suspicious, however.

There are people who I would greet with open arms, though. And there's people who I'd call the police on >_>

I dunno... be creeped out? Ask them how they found me and then maybe taken them out on the town.

Or murder them.
