Step into my basement.
i sure hope thats innuendo
I'd also invite them into my basement... ;)

Seriously though, I share a house with nine people and the entire basement (which is actually above ground level, the house is built on the side of a hill) is a self-contained flat which is my own abode. But yeah, I'd invite them down there and have a gaming session on my Xbox 360 and a few drinks :)

Being the recluse that I am, I dont answer the door unless I expect somebody. So drop a message beforehand will you?

Know here is a question to you members of the Escapist whom actually read this.

What would you do if someone from your friend list would just suddenly come knocking on the door of your home?.

I personally would welcome them to my humble abode and offer them something to drink. Then engage in some intellectual conversation.
Depends on the friend. If it were, say, one of the fine fellows/fellettes I know on here, then I most certainly would welcome them in and engage in some Booshtacular Convoing.

If it's one of the creepers I know from AerisLives or on my Windows Live Messenger contact list, I would probably throw eggs at them or something.

Of course, the line is blurry, so some from AL and WLM I would welcome, and some of you wackos I would throw eggs at.

For me, I'm sure you'd just get an odd look and a nice long awkward silence. And ponder why people would go to all the effort to get all the way over to my place. (No, really, I've only ever met one online person within 2 states of me...)
If neither of us(notably said visitor) are too creeped out after all is said and done, I'll wing it from there.

Though looking at my account here, I'd only have to worry about the crazies in my WoW guild...

I'd ask them for advice on their stalking technique, must've been pretty good.

Then i'd invite them in to play some games, after all thats what brought us all here.

I'd ask them how the hell they found out where I live--I'm very careful with regards to my address.

I would be like 'wtf?' but would probably invite them in and offer them a drink purely out of politeness. But I doubt that'll ever happen anyway, so I'm not too concerned about what I'd do in that situation.

Depends on who it is. I'd love to meet some people I'm friends with on here because I've gotten on with them so well. Others, maybe. We might be friends because of a mutual interest or something but that's about it. It just depends on the person really. They'd have to be able to sit through me playing piano if they came to my unit...

Pretend I wasn't here. And hide for days and days.
Also, did you get this idea from the Guild?

I'd ask who the hell they were first, seeing as I don't know what any of them actually look like. Then probably offer them a beer.

Invite them in, give beer, ask what the hell, and depending on what the hell go from there.

Night life is quite boring in my town, I'd suggest we go track down the next members house to see if it is any better. If it's not we could end up travelling quite far, collecting a lot of members, before we have enough for an Escapist pub golf session.

I don't have that many people on my friends list. Although it would be nice to meet one or two of them I suppose... WAIT! You're at my fucking house? Fuck off!
