Very much awesome my friend. I've done the same but I just cooked it at a friends house next door and slammed the food in front of the owner and demanding that he eat it or suffer my divine wrath. I had made a fresh garden salad with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette with minced shallots. The appraiser was a thyme and rosemary pilaf served with a side of saute asparagus. The main course was saute chicken breasts cooked over a bed of caramelized onions all of which has been marinating in my secret sauce that I will not disclose. And finally a dessert which was a yellow pound cake served with a cranberry sweet reduction sauce. Needless to say I then became the head cook there. BUUWWAAAHHAHAAHAAAAAA TAKE THAT TONY!

I'm a pretty good cook, my weakness is speed. Ah, that is I'm not a very adept short order cook. I like slow cooked food, slow roasts, braises, stews, casseroles, red meat curries and the like. It is the main reason I could never do well on a cooking show, the time limits would kill me.

Anyway, if you can't cook how are you ever going have sex? Nothing impresses like a well prepared meal.

I like to think so. I was a cook for 6 years and do cooking competitions every now and again. People seem to like my stuff anyway. I don't generally cook fancy for myself though, only when other people are around.

I'm pretty good at cooking, definitely no chef at a five star restaurant but I get by.

I make pretty good spaghetti sauce, mother-fucker!

OT: My dad's a cook, so I learned to cook at an early age.

I'm alright, I guess. I mean I'm no expert, but I can bake decent things, and thus far my food has failed to kill anybody. Oh yeah, I refuse to allow butter or milk in my apartment (I HATE that stuff), so all of my food is more or less vegan...

I'm not a great cook, but I'm learning more. Frankly, I love the taste of my own cooking, but I think it's a psychological thing. Since I put forth all the effort and time, the process in making the meal makes it taste better.

I'm decent. When I have the time, I'll put the effort in, and nine times out of ten it'll turn out as intended. But I rarely have the energy, and if I have the energy, I don't have the time, and vice versa.

I consider myself a good cook, though I tend to suck at making breakfast and lunch. But I can do some pretty good Indian dishes.

yeah, i'm pretty good. when i actually make an effort, which i admit is not often.
cooking's one of those great activities though. you can experiment and fail and experiment again and succeed and modify and test and request approval... i find it scientific, almost.
i say that people can always stand to learn how to cook. for one thing it impresses the ladies. :p
