i shot the cap off a bottle of coke, at 150m with an ak-47, also didn't damage the bottle itself, and took out 4 clay birds with a semi auto shotgun in 4 shots, so i guess i'm an alright shot

Well in the few and far inbetween times I get to shoot a gun I find I am pretty good.
I would like to do it more often though, I bet I can get much better.

I'm a good shot with a rifle, I haven't been on any firing ranges that were "official" but I did real well on one my dad, uncle, and granddad made around 4 years ago on some of my granddad's land. I also shot a squirrel right in the head once, but it was about 20 feet away.

I'm not too good with a handgun, but if I had to I could probably kill a guy with one if I had to. But the thing is, I couldn't kill a deer, which are actually legal to eat.

No you wouldn't, most of New York State is pretty hunter-friendly, or so I've heard.

The only gun I've ever shot is a laser tag gun.

I'm a good shot at archery, though, if that counts.

I'm a decent shot with shotguns, although I have only ever used shotguns while clay target shooting. My first time out I accidentally shot the cover of the trap.

Who's laughing now, machine?!

Nope. In fact, I'm a pretty lousy shot.

I had some instruction and practice from military trainers but never really got the hang of it. My one and only claim to skill was being sorta-kinda decent at hitting moving targets. For some reason my hand is more steady while tracking a moving target then while aiming at a static one.

I've shot .20 caliber rifle and some manner of shotgun in my life, both when I was 10. The shotty was fun and I managed to land every shot on the rusty gas can I was pointing it at, but I literally could not hit the broad side of a disused camper trailer in 4 or 5 shots with the rifle. And really, I can't believe they let me use either. When they gave it to me I promptly pointed it at the ass of one of the older boys who was camping with us, then swung it around at the adults (not aiming, just holding without much heed to where the barrel was pointed) when I was reprimanded. And then I stuck the open end in the dirt while I was getting more shells. But, that's what they get for not telling me anything before handing me a dangerous weapon!

I'd like to think I'm a decent shot with a hand gun because of my success with House of the Dead and Time Crisis, but I can almost guarantee I quail at the real McCoy.

I have only shot anything once and I was only about 30 feet away so I am going to say no even though I fired a little over and hundred rounds and hit the target every time.

(The targets were old pumpkins after Halloween if anyone wants to know.)

Smith & Wesson is based in your home state. Vermont is a northern state, and they really like guns. They have also legalized gay marriage, so they are a fairly open minded people. There is nothing really stopping you, except for the fact that guns cost hundreds of dollars.

Never had the pleasure or the curse to fire a real firearm. Never had the urge to do so either.
I've had a few in my sight and hands, both legally and illegally.
(Always a pleasure to help a friend out with some confusing fingerprints... ok just kidding, sounded badass tho!, right?)
I am however quite the shot with lasertag & paintball guns.
And i can't complain about my aiming skills with a Longbow or Crossbow!
(First time with a Longbow i've hit the bullseye, much to everyones fright as i was 12. Oddly enough i've never been bullied again since that day, ghehe)
I've also had some fun with Shurikens & Kunai in the past, but the guy who has them isn't exactly a close friend anymore.

And i live in the Netherlands, so if we want to shoot things we need to join a Gunclub or simply defy the law by joining a gang or some other drug-based "company".

Never shot an actual gun before. Been wanting to learn how, and I'm fairly good with lasertag and airsoft and stuff like that, but otherwise...eh.

I'm definitely good in games, in real life I'm average, not amazing, but not shoddy either.

Good enough. Not amazing, but good. My friends and I play russian roulette with a modded nerf gun so it hurts more. It's so fun!

I've never actually fired a real gun. I would like to learn, but I don't know of any gun ranges here in Costa Rica, or of any gun laws they have in place.

Nah.
I'm decent enough to hit a stationary target on a 150m lane, but not nearly good enough to compete (or hunt).
But then I neither shoot for sports or hunting, so I have precious few occations to practice.
Was a airman with desk duty in the service, so the only shots I fired then was in base camp (I didn't even have a service weapon after base camp).
