Are you a good shot?

I recently tried... funny I actually hold the gun correctly without any instructuion, my aim...well that was not that good. 4 shots, only 1 on target (but it was a headshot)

I find pistols to be pretty hard to hit with (at least in the ranges of 25+ meters, because that's the standard range at my gun club). Of course I hit the target, but making the consecutive five shots hit in a concentrated and small area is pretty difficult. I guess it's because I tend to jerk the trigger a little, despite the fact that im concentrating on NOT to do it.

With rifles however I am a lot better. In fact I don't find it much of a challenge to shoot with rifles because they are so insanely easy to hit with.

Considering im an Ex-Army Rifleman, Yes. Even before that I was good with guns. (Uncle lived out on a Huge farm, learnt there as a kid)

You're "ex-army" at 19? Seriously? Pretty impressive since the minimum term is 2 years and you can't enlist until 18.

Minimum age is 17 for Australian (with permission), plus It was reserves so your not locked into it. (Thankfully)

I'm surprised, I thought the army was working to retain reservists a lot more these days. So how long did you actually stay in?

Guessing from these kinds of threads most people here also are really well trained, know all kinds of martial arts, drink like irishmen and have crazy amounts of sex.
I guess the Escapist is just really lucky that way.

Well, what you just said, perfectly reflects me. I do MMA and when I don't have a fight coming up, I try to drink like an Irishman, I'm not sure if I do however as I usually can't remember it. As for sex, I wouldn't say crazy amounts as I am faithful to my gf but I have my fare share. I also enjoy playing video games, which explains my presence here.
Seriously, calling people liars is really not very nice. Personally, I trust everyone here on the Escapist and perhaps you should too... just a suggestion.

Agree. But you always upgrade your skill on these pages. I did it. I'm just as good as a medic is supposed to be. My only evidance is that I'm Swede and we had conspription a back then
