I only do it if people ask me to proofread their work. I just think it makes people think you're some pedantic, anal retentive prick. Something I try to avoid. I mean, people who don't make an effort to use capital letters and periods, they annoy me, sure. But as long as I can read it, that's fine.

On topic, some people are amazing in the way they seem to intentionally ruin their grammar. How could sentences like this otherwise exist: "wot ar you doin dont be so iretionel"

Face it. The Escapist is full of them. I am one from time to time. We're not all Grammar Nazis, yet there are some posts that take being a Grammar Nazi too far. I was on a thread earlier, and the first comment had nothing to do with the Topic. It was only correcting the person's spelling. Come on. That's just not right when it's one word. Then someone else did the same thing. I mean, at least post something that can relate to the thread. So are you a grammar Nazi? Are you one that will only say something if a lot is spelled incorrectly? Or if even one word is misspelled?(The beginning of a thread, for instance.)

Not to boast, but you can look through my posts, I don't have any mistakes, and if I do, I doubt more than 3 in total have been made. xD

But I wouldn't quote someone just to make a correction. That's just ignorant.

I only become a grammar Nazi if I mean to be sarcastic or witty. I don't really correct on using the wrong there/their/they're. I might get abit annoyed if a post becomes illegible, but then of course I bet anyone would get annoyed at that.
