Are you a night owl or a morning bird?

Night owl for sure. I've always loved being up extremely late. This however makes it hard for me to do stuff in the morning, like school or work. So I'm always itching to get out of the cage that is my bedroom but my conscious has the key to the lock.

Personally I hate mornings with an unreserved passion. It feels like someone has injected me with a shot of shaky, angry irritable juice. I have to use some deep zen practices just to keep from murdering pigeons.

Evenings are much nicer, but that said if I stay up too late, that translates into an even worse morning. Ho hum.

Neither, really. I hate waking up in the morning, but at the same time, I'm incapable of staying up late anymore. By 11pm, I'm too tired to stay awake.

I suppose I'd have to say "morning bird", because even though I hate waking up, I'm still able to do it very quickly. I'm not one of those people who needs like three coffees before I can function...I'm usually perfectly alert by the time the shower's over.

I am neither tbh, some days I can go to bed at 21:00... some days at 01:00. It just depends on how I'm feeling that day, and how much stuff I've gotta do.

Not having a sleep routine seem to freak people out, though :<

I feel more alert at night, but I like the look of the sun rise and the general feeling of the morning more than night.
So I guess... Both?

I really don't understand these people that can just wake up in the morning with all this energy like they're coming off the bench at a basketball game. They're just running around like "Yeah, everybody hands up!" or whatever they say. I'm like a goddamn lame cow in the middle of the road. I have four alarms set in the morning because I if I only have one I just turn it off and go back to sleep. It's bad.

If it weren't for the reality of gainful employment, I'd never get up before freaking noon. I am most definitely a night owl - no horrible glaring brightness to contend with, whee!

If starting work at about 5am and going to bed at 9pm makes me a morning bird.. then I must be.

can I not be both? I'm awake and alert best in the morning up til about half 11 where i start to get drowsy and sucky... and i ususally stay sucky until about 5, when i'll usually have dinner or something and then i'm awesome again til whatever time i go to bed.

staying up late is fun, but getting up early is very worthwhile

Night owl. For some strange reason, I can't stand clarity, it annoys me deeply and in a very strong way, too much of it gives me a fucking headache. I hate the sun too (clarity + infernal Brazilian heat). Night lights are not so intense as sunlight, so they are OK to me, and I find looking at my window and seeing shadows covering all the buildings and trees quite a beautiful sight.

I'm both. I can go to bed quite late (or not go to bed at all some nights) and still be up at 7 a.m for 9 a.m lectures with no ill effects.
