Easily a Nite Owl. I wish I wasn't, because I'm always tired the next day, but there's just something about the night time...

Night owl (even though I love sleeping)
Sometimes I just neglect sleeping to just ponder on things all night long.

A bit like that. but without Gandalf, hobbits, and occasionally weed.

I can has both?
I can't sleep until 3am, and like waking up relatively early (I like 9.30am when I don't have lectures). I like being active at both times, I get really restless -.-''
Horray for fudged up sleeping patterns :D

I am a night owl, I despise early mornings. It is a real struggle to wake up at 5.30am on a monday for university

I usually end up falling asleep some time between 3-6am. I'm not ideally happy with it but I've tried to fix it for more than a decade to no success. Given I get pretty pronounced depression when I don't get sufficient sunlight, it's less than ideal, but I think it qualifies me as a night owl.

In other words, do you spend your nights awake and being active, or do you go to bed early but wake up early, chipper and ready for the day?

I am definitely a morning person, I hate the night, it's cold, tiring, and I hate not seeing shit.
Night owl. Night always has better shows, it's better on the eyes (I hate glare), and I absolutely LOVE being able to sleep in.

Speaking of weed, I think Gandalf was smoking the helicopter tobacco, if ya see what I mean.

OT: It depends on the day/week/month, actually.

both.

I like to wake up early and go to bed late.

coffee helps but I genuinely want to be up as much as possible.

When I'm up at 4AM, I have the front room to myself, I can do pretty much what I want, the internet's faster for some reason and there's just the whirring of my computer as noise.

When I'm struggling out of bed at 7AM, I end up whacking my head on the wall.

I'll give you one guess on which I prefer.
