After all the problems I've had with this (my current) computer. I refuse to buy anything with AMD components. I voraciously doubt their quality.
Indeed, the subtlety is the differentiating factor here. PC DRM is really "in your face", hence the increased negative response you get. Most studios/devs have this archaic notion that all PC gamers are intrinsicly morally devoid hackers. We have a bad group of eggs that give the rest of the honest community a bad name. Unfortunately, that "lowest common denominator", if you can call them that, is what studio's develop towards.kommando367 said:I stand corrected. Still, it doesn't usually cause the same problems as on certain PC games like not being able to play a game while servers are offline.Griffolion said:DRM is deeply part of a console's OS, try copying a disk or cracking the software and loading it to the hard drive. Trust me, consoles are controlling users in DRM like fashion more than the DRM you find on PC's.kommando367 said:Since consoles don't have DRM, I don't really share the hatred my PC brethren have for it.
No, this is about her being in a position that most writers can only dream about with below average writing skills, her being the epitome of the cancer of the gaming industry and hiding behind her vagina.Easton Dark said:What? Why's Hepler so bad? Is this about her not liking games? The Red Goblin said:I refuse to buy any Bioware products until Hepler is gone. Just knowing that a single cent of my money could go to her sickens me.
I am not trying to start arguing or nothing I just remembered we were talking about this and I stumbled by this info graphic so I thought I would pass it along if you still disagree that is fine but well ya here it is.nyarlathotepsama said:
Hmmmm... Well I don't think that is true. Not going to argue with you there but from my source, that being watching my dying little town turn from 70ish percent unemployed to roughly 10 percent unemployed makes me question Walmart hate in general. All because they built a Walmart in town.
A lot of people seem to hate Walmart because it "closes" down small businesses with it lower prices, but if one looks closely they often notice that nearly 100% of the business in question were already over charging to stay afloat BEFORE a Walmart was within a 70 mile radius. I don't buy Walmart taking over all commerce in a decade or so, because it just can't happen logically. Although if it did I guess I wouldn't be too unhappy, least everything would be cheaper.
But not going to get into an argument over this, I bow out. Believe as you wish to believe and I'll allow it. I am the neutral party. I shop at a Fred Meyers.
