Are You Easily Offended?

I rarely take offense to people being immature or ignorant... but people who are duplicitous and purposefully hide their opinions or true intentions/feelings from me to save face do tend to bother me.

For example, if someone calls me a F@g to my face, I brush them off a a biggot and move on (though if I know that person I won't talk to them again), but if someone acts friendly towards me and proceedes to call me a f@g behind my back then I take great offense.

But most people feel that way ,so I'm not alone of course.

It depends on the subject.
Like if someone comes and says "Hey Gigas, you are an ugly son of *****" Then I would be like "I know".
But if someone comes and says that everyone who plays videogames is stupid, then I would rape that son of a ***** with a goddamn M60.

I try if im not offended by it. It's ok to do it to other people idea. Which then I don't do (unless a know the person real well) in case I offend them. I'm more likily to offend people then them offending me. I'm very hard to really offend.

Nope. The only time I tend to get even remotely offended is when humanity lets me down intellectually with things like Prop 8. Otherwise, cuss words don't get to me at all unless their used profusely/overdone.

Ignorance offends me. I'm cool with someone hating something, as long as they have a legitimate reason for hating it. So many people think ill of things because of rumour, hearsay and the media and it pisses me off to no end.

Other than that I'm pretty easy going and it takes a lot to offend me.

Pretty much this. If you know what you're talking about and/or are clearly making a joke about something, I will not be offended. Annoyed, possibly, but not actually offended.

If you're passing judgement on something you know nothing about, I'll be a little more upset, especially if I know more about the topic than the person judging it.

Misanthropy is the hatred of humanity.
A person that hates humanity is a misanthrope.

That is one definition.
Another is that of "distrust". Then there's "disgust". Then "contempt". aso. aso.
A misanthrope is one that feels superior to everyone else.

Fascism is built on removing all power from the people, because fascism doesn't trust the people with power.

Almost nothing offends me, unless it's some kind of serious personal attack on me by a close friend; other than that, I can't think of anything. Most things annoy me, but offend me--I don't know.

The one thing that offends me, makes me want to kill the person actually, is blatant lying to your face and expecting you to take it as the truth. That makes me want to bite off the neck skin of the liar.

For an example: every anti-porn crusader that ever lived.
