Are you going to get Duke Nukem Forever?

So its been what, a decade? A decade of hearing about this game and wondering if it might come out eventually, to finally have it finished?

So what are you guys going to do. Are you going to get a copy for the novelty of actually having a copy of the game that was never going to come out? Are you going to get it because you loved the series or are you going to get it because you just think it'll be awesome?

Me, personally? I'll get it for the novelty. I think it'll be a hit just because of that.

Nah, I don't think so. My affinity towards "The Duke" has never been profound. From what I've seen, it hasn't got anything other shooters haven't already implemented (except for the peeing, blowjobs and T-rated language). Of course that goes for most FPS's today, but I'd rather spend my money on some other game/genre then.

Never played any of his games and the only reason I know about the Duke is because of the ongoing joke of Duke Nukem Forever. So I'm not getting it. Well if I found a copy of it and burned it in front of the interblag? Nah, no point.

Me and my dad used to play the old games on the pc when I was little, we loved it, so there is a chance we might get it.

Seeing as how it's probably a lousy or generic FPS, no.
Of course, I'll read reviews and do my research regardless. If it's worth a damn, then maybe, but the market is already flooded with generic shooters.

So no. I'm not giving DNF any special treatment just because it's been the pariah of vaporware games for the last 12 years.

I think I would get it. The previous Dukes were most enjoyable and I don't see why this one wouldn't be.

Unfortunately it's just old enough that I never got into it which is why I probably wont get it. That and there as so many other games that I will want comming out that I don't think that I can gat all of them so this one would get cut from the list.

As I recall Duke was colourful, with its bright pink and blue pigcops and whatnot

Well I'll be around 16 when it comes out so my mum might try and keep me from it (TnA confirmed) but hopefully Michael Atkinson doesn't give the gaming industry some surprise butsecks and ban it, if it comes out here I'll get it though.
