That could end very badly. Say...Fallout?

OT: I am fairly content with my life. I just moved back from Shanghai to my hometown and started off hating it. But I quickly made some friends and I'm only a teenager so I really have nothing to complain about.
How is that bad? Any scenario that has the pssiblity to turn me into a deathclaw sounds fine by me.

Humans dont turn into Deathclaws, so no, not a possible scenario. Besides, you'd be gone with the blastwave with the 99% of the rest of us.

OT: No. Was really happy as a kid. Now im pretty miserable and have been for the last 10+ years.

I was thinking more along the lines of,"anything is possible" rather than one particular game.

There ought to be a poll. The lack a poll makes me very sad. So no, I'm not happy. It's probably been about 4 years since I've been happy as a default mood. Happiness is usually just a distraction from being melancholy now.

Right now I have a headache, so I'm not that happy.

I'm happy when I'm talking to my girlfriend, and I'm happy that I'm in college and got my GED after dropping out of high school.

Even though I'm in college and just started out with things, I'm unhappy that I don't have a job or that many friends. I'm really not happy with the financial situation I'm in either. Or the fact that my girlfriend lives a few states away. Lastly, I'm very unhappy that it's summer. This season depresses me so bad--I can' wait for autumn.

Before i start i just want to state this isnt a ' what is happiness thread' . So no philosophical 'happiness is ...' or ' does happiness exist? ' answers please.

Anyways , at this moment are you happy with the way your life is ? Are you happy with how things are going? If not what do you think you would need to be happier ? Be it your financial situation , love life, education , job , etc...
Well I've just for the results for my degree and I've got a First in Philosophy...so getting me to not be philosophical is a pretty big ask, but I've complied.

Yeah, pretty damn happy really.

Incredibly. I've never been a depressed sort of person, but right now is the happiest I believe I've been. Just graduated high school, headed off to a great university. I'll be studying a combination of business and international relations, traveling abroad at least twice, and nicely setting myself up for a career which involves a great deal of travel. I have my whole life ahead of me (not to mention an amazing summer), how could I not be ecstatic?

Mostly, yeah. It could be better, but overall I think that I'm having quite a good life at the moment. I have just finished my GCSEs, I have my prom in 2 days, I have a long holiday ahead of me, and I am very much looking forward to sixth form after that as well.

Of course I still worry about stuff as well, but I try not to think of that as much (I try to be a positive thinker).

That's actually a complicated question to ask, but don't worry this isn't about philosophy.

In general, yeah I'm pretty content, I've got food, people who love me, a roof over my head and a half-decent job that doesn't suck as much as other jobs I've had. However, there's a lot of things I'm not happy about, emotion is a complicated thing, I don't feel one emotion, I feel many for different subjects. Some things piss me off, some things depress me and some things are just plain annoying.

Do I let these things rule my life completely? No, but I'm not going to ignore them because these things are pretty important to me and it would be stupid to deny that there are some things out there in the world that I just don't agree with.

However, my friend's dog had puppies about a week and a half ago! So I'm pretty happy right now since I got to spend most of my day wiggling a squeaky chicken around for them.

Sure am. Things could be better, but they could be a whole hell of a lot worse. So yeah, I'm happy.

I'm in that complicated situation where you feel you have to look at things that might otherwise seems horrendous in a positive way or else be broken by circumstance and denial of many things.
