Yes, for several reasons. I love kind of feeling like I've become another person, and I love putting the costumes together.

To date I have done:

-Alfons Heidrich (from FMA Conquerer of Shambala. Currently retired)
-Jean Havoc (Semi-retired)
-Ianto Jones (Retired)
-The Traveler (from Ludo's Broken Bride. Semi-active)
-The Tenth Doctor (Active)
I had a River Song hanging around me for this particular session.
-The Warden (from Superjail. Active)
-Ambrose Russet (original Steampunk character. Active but still in progress)

Well, these are the ones I've done for Cons and other impressive events. I have also done an Alchemist [http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/294/1002205j.jpg], a Vampire [http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/4023/sany1876.jpg], a modern March Hare [http://img804.imageshack.us/img804/9823/sany1373.jpg], and a Mobster [http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/2797/1000315u.jpg]...on several occasions.

As of right now, I don't have plans to do any new ones, but if I get inspiration, I will try.

P.S. I have no shame in where I take the pictures. I just want some.

I will dress as The Scout or The Pyro

Oh the joy I feel right now! ^-^

You love posting those pictures dont you...but I dont blame you.

OT: I've never dressed up in a costume except for Halloween, but I'd want to some time down the line.

I cosplay all the time when I can. I've done Kagome from Inuyasha, Envy from FMA, and the Merchant from Resident Evil 4. Sadly, all of them are retired. I ended up having to scrap my Merchant costume for parts.

Currently working on a Blastmaster Raider costume... just trying to find a kon with lenient enough rules to let me walk around in a strapless bra. It's done, for the most part. Also working on a Painspike Raider costume for a friend of mine.

Currently waiting on my Summoner Yuna costume to arrive. I didn't have the means or the time to make this one, so I ordered a cheap ish one and I'm modding it. Currently working on her staff and the flower she has on her obi. Now if it would get here before the 19th that would be awesome...

I did, once, for the only convention this little town on earth gets.(to my knowledge)
anyway I Cosplayed as Red Haired Shanks... it won second place in the costume contest they next to my friends samurai cosplay. I felt proud because it took me only half an hour to actually make it. I would show a picture but they never uploaded the pictures of the convention.

Yes, have for years now and attend too many conventions each year. My groups convention list each year (we tour the west coast around California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington):

Sac-Anime Winter
Anime on Display (AOD)
SNAFU-con
Fanime
Sakura-con
Hyper-con
Sac-Anime Summer
Yaoi-con
Decepti-kon
WonderCon
Kintoki-con

I'd link pictures, but this is more convenient. My cosplay page, pictures, etc:

Only time I've ever "cosplayed" (I don't count childhood dress-up as such) was at the midnight premiere of Revenge of the Sith. Went as Vader, although my costume was just black clothing, a plastic Vader helmet, and a homemade black cape.

...Oh, and I also filled in the role of a Scout Trooper for the local 501st's float in a local parade once, but I don't know if that counts.

I don't really mind the idea, but I don't really entertain the idea because going to cons / getting costumes for them is way out of my budget.

I would, but I live on the moon and cosplaying is illegal on the moon, and I'm far too lazy to retake it and make it legal again.

While I am not really a cosplayer (I don't look like anyone I want to dress as :p) I figured I'd post and thank everyone put their pics in here, you guys look awesome and I wish I had the bottle to actually get out there and do it.

Also, much love to EeveeElectro as Freya and ZeroChan as Black Widow. Awesome character choices, awesome costumes looking great on you, and of course brave of you to post them here lol. You are relevant to my interests and I would like to subscribe to your mailing list *nods*. Out of curiosity, where did you get the cat-suit ? Looks way better than lots of similar stuff I've seen! Or did it just cost an arm and a leg ?

I don't generally like cosplay, but I do appreciate the ones that are done really well. Yep.

It's a good thing you look awesome in those, otherwise people would be getting fed up of seeing them.

Well it's not my fault there's a cosplay thread every second day. I'm just taking advantage of it ;)

(Also, can someone explain to me what "le snip" is?)
haha, it's just something some people put in when they remove some of your original quote. Mainly to shorten the post down (I hate seeing a quote within a quote within a quote, ugh).
Most people just use "snip" but I prefer using stuff like le snip, el snippio or Honey I shrunk the quote!

I'm very much into it.
By this i mean i'm very much into staring at the scantly clad women that do this sort of thing.
