Of course. Because I doubt I'll have a chance to be anybody important, anybody people would listen to in the world, so I'd like to be able to pass on...something[footnote]Not entirely sure what I mean here. Things like what kind of person they should be, advice, things like that...
Hmm. What kind of person they should be sounds awfully controlling. I mean that they should be good people, polite, kind to others.[/footnote] to my children...

I am vehemently opposed to raising children... or, at least, me raising children. Can't stand the things.

People plan that?

No... no, nay, never.
I can't even stand being near pre-puberty kids for a longer time!

I plan to never have children because I carry cystic fibrosis (recessively) and I don't want the future of humanity to have it so I think I'll avoid the 50% chance of passing it on and adopt; unless this counts as having children in which case my answer is yes.

Unlikely. Even if I by some divine luck from the random number god actually get to be with someone I'd want to spend the rest of my life with, I would probably not want a child.

I see little reason for me to spend massive amounts of energy (energy I don't have to begin with) on a child that would grant me nothing but headaches. I'd much rather have a pet or two.

Though I am not opposed to the idea, I'd prefer not to have one.
Oh come on. Ask almost any parent and they'll say it was worth it. And even if that doesn't sway you, who else is going to look after you and love you when you're old?

I don't like kids, and kids don't really like me. Plus, childbirth doesn't sound like fun- I don't particularly like pain. So... long story short, not planning on having any kids in the future. Perhaps my opinion'll change in time... but it's been a vehement 'NO' for all of the 21 years of my life. Or, at least, as many of those 21 years wherein I have managed to think about things like that.

I might adopt. But that's about it.

I'm not sure I want kids. But then, what 19 year old male really wants kids? I'm sure I'll end up having some though.

I don't intend to have any, but who knows? The future is notoriously inscrutable.

Maybe it is worth it, but I am fairly content with my life already. That is why I said I wasn't directly opposed to the idea. If I got a child that turned out to behave well and be a decent and good person, I wouldn't mind at all (I'd be quite happy then), but I fear the alternative way too much to want to risk it. Though there are some personal issues hidden in there.

And I'm not interested in living if I need to be taken care of, so I'd rather be dead when I get that old.

At this point in my life I am just trying to work the minimum possible hours to pay for everything. I'm not interested in commiting to something, and I lack the propensity to look beyond tomorrow...so my life doesn't move forward at any real pace.

I do like children though.

I'm already a parent. I have two beautiful girls one who is 5 and the other just turned 1. Neither of them were planned and no that doesn't mean we weren't using anything because we were using more than one form of contraception. So they were surprise, miracle babies in my eyes :)

I'm already an alloparent for my sister, and I'm looking forward to when I have my own kids, though chances are that won't be for atleast another decade...
