I'm often mistaken for my friend Dan if he doesn't wear his Black Dog hat, which is understandable considering that we have the same hair color and style, similar glasses, and similar facial structure.

People think I'm a stoner. Not too bad. I think it's the hair and carefree attitude I have.

People that aren't my friends tend to think I smoke pot and listen to heavy metal. I'll admit, I do look like it, but I don't do those things.

It's the same with me. I tend to be neutral but people catch a negative vibe from me and therefore decide that I am a negative person.

People assume I go to college and have a life and do things a normal person my age should.
They also assume I will be polite and do all that social nicety bullshit.

I don't. And I won't.

There's a lot of misconceptions people have about me. A major one is that often people think I'm a lot angrier than I am, but I get over my anger quickly, even if I have a hard time controlling it. (unfortunately so, hence the misconception.) This means people always expect me to be at the forefront of a debate or whatever, when all I'd rather do is hide. Unfortunately for me this often results in me being drawn in anyway, out of my own perception that if I don't, nobody will.

Stoner, i think its the way i dress and how laid back i always am. Even when I'm mad I am the laid back one. The thing is i don't smoke enough to consider myself a stoner but now that i think about it most of my friends are stoners...

Some people asume that I am violent, although I'm a passifist.
Can't blame them though, small scar crossing my eyebrow, scar on my forehead... lots of them under my hairroots wich are vicible when I have short hair.

People say I look like either Usher or Will Smith...

I just tell them that's my stunt double and it gets crazier from there.

People think I'm 15... nothing wrong with high school sophomores, except that I'm really 20. And for some reason, look like jailbait to people, especially to those men over 70. Apparently, to find me attractive, men either have to be pedophiles or in high school.

People at my school call me "closed-minded" because I don't read Glenn Beck and don't agree with their "libertarian" politics. Yeah. I'm closed-minded because they spit racist and homophobic elitist junk at me and I disagree and explain why I disagree.
Then they are not true Libertarians... I greatly dislike those people who say that they are libertarian and reject everything not libertarian. A libertarian mind respects everything and everyone (In ideology). Personally I'm think of respect as something you earn not something you get.

When people realise I'm 22 and a mum of two they assume I'm a slag. Which is completely untrue.
I've only ever slept with people I love and am part of a happy working family.

Sounds like me.

I also was thought to have done drugs for a while, I guess that was assumed from who I hung out with. Now people just think I'm younger than I actually am. I still get ID'd for Lotto tickets, even though I'm 20. *sigh*

Sorry for the double post, but I'm a guy and people think I'm 16 or 17, when in reality I'm 20. It really sucks, especially when girls don't want to deal with you because they think you're younger than you really are.

People are scared of me. Not scared of bodily harm so much as wonder if they are going to be so verbally assaulted that they'll turn into a gelatinous mass. That's strange, because I'm a rather cordial lady.

I was reading a book in the library once and no less then three people stopped and said something along the lines of, "Come on, girl, smile, you look angry." All I was doing was reading a book, though, granted, I can get an incredibly intense expression when I'm thinking, to the point that onlookers think that I'm furious and about to explode.

Nobody ever talks to me. D:
