Area 51. It's a research center, but for what?

Yeah every american has heard of Area 51, where all kinds of alien shit goes down. Now on the official side, the U.S. government barely acknowledges its existence, and they say its a research center.

Well that's certainly true from what's been told, they do research on a lot of experimental aircraft, weapons, and everything else.

Personally, I believe the story. But what do you think is going down there?

Spoiler: maybe it's something cool.

Also, you can be shot for trying to trespass. You could also be shot for taking a photo of the blackbird when it first came into use. They don't want any information getting out about their projects.

If it's an actual place, then I bet it's a "decoy" to another facility that is doing less then legal tests, but I highly doubt it.

In 1944, the U.S. navy invaded Saipan. During the fighting, a regiment of soldiers managed to corner, and capture, a live ninja.

He was chained in a metal box, and shipped stateside for research. Ever since, the airstrips and hanger facilities at area 51 have been used to hide the ninja research going on underground.

I believe if there is a big secret (which there probably is), Area 51 is a decoy. It's "poorly" handled by the government to draw interest from the public. And every now and then, they'll stage something to retain interest after a lull period. And maybe they'll "let slip" some "important" document to entertain themselves. If there's any top secret research taking place, it's somewhere else. I mean I doubt the governement would so royally screw this kind of stuff up.
