Arrows are stuck in my body on Skyrim...

Does anyone know how to get them out? I mean... I wouldn't mind, but the way these two arrows have gone in, I'm technically dead.

They should fade after a while, unless its a bug and they are stuck forever!!

This makes me think of something a guard in Skyrim said.

"I used to be an adventurer like you, til I took an arrow to the knee"

You can reply with "Well great! I took one to the face!!" Or you know, where ever it hit you...

You think that's bad? For me, Ice Shards don't disappear very often, even when I load my game. The third person kills are a lot less awesome with a massive chunk of glass sticking out of my face.

Complaining about arrows? Bah! My character had a huge icicle in his arse because of similar bug. Wear/Remove armour, enter/exit locations, save/load, restart game. They will disappear eventualy.

EDIT: bloody ninjas.

open up the console (the '`' key), and type in 'sexchange' minus the apostrophe.

Assuming you don't want to stay the other gender, type it in again to switch back. That always removes arrows for me.

I've had this same issue on the Xbox version. I fixed it by getting show again. Then, when those arrows fade, so will whichever one has been stuck in you for however long.

I actually had this happen to me straight out of the tutorial mission. I was contemplating starting a new character after 15 minutes of having an arrow in my ribs. Then I looked up the issue online and got my answer.

It still happens to me on occasion, and so far the only way I know how to fix it is to be shot again.

I had the EXACT same problem. I reloaded, removed armor, tried everything, but nothing worked. A few hours later, I'd just fought my way through a dungeon and went into third-person to get a better look around and they had gone.

sounds like I'll have to put up with it for a few hours then :/ but it's weird how your character's visuals make a big difference to enjoyment.

I hope they patch this!

I haven't had that problem, but apparently the skeletons of dead dragons can follow you home. I don't know why, but the corpse of the first story dragon keeps crash landing outside Whiterun every time I leave the town.

Well I finally managed to remove the arrows by unequipping any arrows and storing all of them in a chest (while in 1st person mode) and then retreiving them all again. So if anyone else has the problem you can try that

My friend had that problem after he saved, I think someone told him how to get them out but he left them there due to how badass he looked.

got the same problem, really annoying

Pfft, that's nothing. I went into Blackreach and now my character has three perpetual columns of steam coming out of him along with some sparks. I look like Bennet from the end of Commando .

Easy fix? Get some friendly bandits to kindly shoot you again. They should dissapear after that. Same goes for Ice Shards.

Here is how to fix it (happened to me yesterday)

Kill something.

Open the body

Deposit all your arrows in the body

Close container. Arrow should be gone.

Now you can take back your arrows.
