Yes, seriousness ended back to the silly Q&A.
Well this thread is about silly Q&A! Geez, I really can't win with you people, can I? You get mocked if you derail a thread and you get mocked if you try not to.

I'll ask what I ask all girls I meet online:

can you send me pics
Yes, I could. :p
Of the... *ahem* [small][small]nude variety[/small][/small]
Those I do not possess. Digital age. One brush with the internet and they'd show up at my doorstep years later with a blackmail number attached.
you figured out my plan! Curses...

I think it's brilliant that this thread is still going even after i've been to sleep and woken up.

I wonder if all girl geeks posses such stamina.

I like to think it's just a select few of us with such talents.

Heh, and on that note, since things seem to be slowing down, I should probably get some sleep. Be back on in a few hours to answer any more questions that pop up.

And no, I haven't built my own PC yet. Too busy plotting to kidnap my brother's Alienware.
This has nothing to do with gender but why on earth would you want an Alienware?

I completely misread the title!. I thought it said, "Ask a Greek girl" and for once I was happy that this was finally an "ask a ____" thread that I could enjoy.

I am slightly disappointed now, if I am honest!.

Anyhoo, now that I am here I guess I should ask a question..

..

Ah!. I got one..Have you ever lost the game?
Cuuuuuuuuuursssssseeeeeeeeeesss! I just lost the game...
damn you all, and here I was having a relly long "not having lost the gam streak" or atleast I think so..

Oh and by the way, YOU HAVE AL LOST THE GAME!

$10 says you're gay. I mean, it's not homo if they're just a mix of X and Y chromosomes right?
You just lost $10. Although I suppose I do boarder on asexual a lot of the time. If you don't know what that is, look it up.

Actually its just the presence of Y or not. (Im sorry, I was a biology major, its compulsive)
Nothing wrong with being specific; I should have been more precice and mentioned if it was either an XX or XY match.

My girlfriend plays diner dash, sims, spyro and Crash bandicoot ... My question is.. What makes a female gamer? is it the fact you play mainly Male games like Team fortress and left 4 dead, or can you be a female gamer and play games that arent so manly (like sims)

We have played l4d 1 together and she said she enjoyed it (was actually rather good :p) But i cant tell if shes just saying that because she likes me

Sims alone i cannot call a gamer, sims AND other games atleast classifies her as a casual gamer.

So, with the relationship thread and the minor male-female numbers discrepancy on my mind I thought it might be fun to give myself a challenge. Other females feel free to join me in the question-answering.

Is there anything you've always wanted to ask about Geek Girls, that... well, we're not quite so rare anymore, but certainly a unique breed of female? Keep in mind that any questions asked just to annoy will be ignored. Try to keep it to things you're *genuinely* curious about.
There isn't really anything different between a geek "girl" or geek "guy", you realize?
Only the girls are usually attention whores.

I know, because I am one (what you called a geek girl, not an attention whore)

how important is Appearance to you? (in relationships also I hate to seem well, like a ass I really do wonder though)

do you own a PS3?

how do you deal with guys who are genuine Chav bastards who believe that your gender heavily affects your playing ability and how well you function?
Appearance isn't terribly important to me, however, to qualify that, hygiene is very VERY important. Shave. Bathe. It lets intelligence and personality shine through.

Yes, one of the old big clunky ones that's amazingly still running.

I deal with them by laughing at them and their sad, lonely lives.
what right answers, thank you

well I hate to be self righteous but telling anyone what their gender specific goal in life is without a hint of irony is sexist,

are you sexually attracted to this boy?

He looks like Screech from Saved By The Bell (if this hasn't already been said).

Also, for being a bit of a pointless thread this has a lot of replies...
If this is a case of helping guys to understand "geek girls", I just...don't think that anyone is THAT complicated. All of these advice columns and magazines giving so-called "information" on the opposite sex...it's all rubbish.

If you are yourself around people, you'll soon learn to understand them - no matter whether you define yourself by a category, each person within that category is unique so...general questions aren't specific enough. Just...you know, be you and you'll learn more about people from their reactions to you than anyone could ever "tell you".
