I'm sure it will be worth at least a rent. I mean the first one was great but I kinda regretted wasting 60 bucks on it when nearing the end.

Me and my girlfriend always refer to Altair's hidden blade as the '*****-Ass Dagger Knife'. Ezio has a '*****-Ass Dagger Knife-Gun' AND he dual wields the damn things!

It's...got potential.

the trailers and what ive read in magazines seems to show that some parts of the gameplay will be better than the first one (i.e no more absolutely identical missions in every single f**k-mothering city) but tbh I just wonder if the story will be much better than the last one, if it turns out that da vinci is actually evil and betrays you at the end of the game i may have to chuck the game out of the window.

First of all, capitalize the first letter in a sentence, not every word.
Second, ubisoft has a habit of yelling that their games will be better then before and then failing to deliver.

As long as it's not as incredibly repetitive and uninspired as the first one it should be allright.

When playing both Assassins Creed and Far Cry 2 I had the same feeling: under all the tedium and boring repetition of the fucking same objectives hides a great game. Just a shame that it got bogged down by bad bad game play ideas. *sigh*

It looks like a huge improvement on the first Assassins Creed.. I think I read somewhere that there was going to be 16 types of side missions in AC2, rather than those 3 incredibly boring side-missions in the first game.

I think it will be good, because I read they are getting rid of the repetitious cycles aka before you kill this guy you need to do 3 pickpockets, 2 flag missions, 3 eavesdroppings, etc etc etc... raaaaghhhghghg!!! can't stand repetition. >.<

Assassin's creed should've been a cross between Mirrors Edge and Thief 2. Until that happens i feel it will never reach its proper potential.

The first game was not particularly amazing. This one at least promises to have more depth than the three minigames of the last one.

I loved the first Assassin's Creed, and the 2nd looks like they just took that and added more awesome. Smoke bombs, two hidden blades, improved combat, and Leonardo DaVinci! It will be great.

I'm looking for a sequel not unlike that of L4D 2

Not straying too far from the original game, however with new, more brilliant ideas. I expect Assassin's Creed 2 to kick ass.
