Assassins creed 3: where should it take place?

Assassin's Creed should be set French Revolution or Victorian London. But really anywhere except in modern times. I like the investigating story, but Desmond sucks compared to Altair or Ezio.
Ubisoft already said it would be the follow up of AC2 so it's in Italy, if you wanna know where exactly

If this does happen though, I'm personally hoping that they'll make each different location a different memory. That way, they could have a lot of cool locations in one title. It would be difficult to create a separate story for each, but AC2's story dragged at the end, so I think multiple stories could work and possible make it more interesting.

They should make a Call of Creed: Modern Assassinations. Have Desmond killing Abstergo employees and Presidents and world leaders because everyone is part of the Templar Conspiracy

the good thing about AC, i suppose, is that it tries to go places that you wouldn't have seen in games before. we've seen modern times in games loads and anything distinctly foreign would kind of mess up the tone of the game (unless it was about some european guy inexplicably in asia it just wouldn't make any sense) so the only recognisable places left to explore are paris or london maybe? some sort of victorian/ revolutionary france era story. also maybe constantinople when the romans were still there.
personally i don't think setting it in revolutionary america would be any good

THE FREAKIN' FUTURE. If they try to stretch the plot over more than three games, it's just going to end up as a sad mess. I kind of want to control Desmond (since he is the protagonist and all that) and do cool assassin stuff.
If Desmond's situation isn't resolved then there's no closure. He can't stop EvilFutureCorp in the past, since everything is a memory, and reliving those won't change anything.

Ezio again then? *Sigh* Ezio's a great character, one of the best in recent memory, but part of the charm of AC for me is constantly seeing different ancestors. And it's about time they resolved Desmond's story isn't it?captain awesome 12 said:
