Assassins storm the building you are in, How do you escape

You hear a large crash as the building you are in RIGHT NOW is sieged by assassins, and they're here for your blood! Do you run? Try to fight? Hide? Defend yourself and live to fight another day.

I'm at home in my bedroom, first storey floor, and it's night, so I'd use my bed to block my bedroom door, so they are delayed at entering my room, and climb out my window onto the roof below, escaping over my neighbours rooftop into the night.

I continue eating my bacon and once they finally get to my room I'll just give them a dirty look and make them run away in a terrified, jealous state.

I'd end up dead. I'm on the second floor (first floor for you people across the pond, as you'd say) and the windows lead straight down onto 25 year old wooden patios that would probably end up getting me killed by broken wood or an Air Conditioner.

If I was such a target that someone, or some organisation, warranted the employment of ASSASSINS to take me out, then I would not be the relatively anonymous computer programmer that I am. I would be someone who was involved in an underground industry, and with that I would know that you can trust no one, and my premises would have appropriate defenses.

As such, as I am now typing this reply, the assassins are all dead and I have to clean up the mess. Bbs.

Um... I grab my COG tags, my Legend of Zelda belt, the Baterang from Arkham Asylum that I modified to come off of the base, and my nerf sword then use them to combat the assassins while playing some epic music such as [a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDgbYF48UPw"]this[/a]. I'll probably die, but I'll die a epic (fail) death.
