Honestly, I hate it when some woman assumes that just because I'm black that automatically means I have a huge member. . . . Actually in retrospect as far as stereotypes go that one isn't so bad.

On a more serious note it does bother me at times when people notice one of the two guns I usually carry on me (quite legally thank you) and start acting like I'm there to rob and kill the lot of them. God damn white folks spook easy when they see a brother with a gun. On the plus side they usually give me plenty of space afterwords.

The thing that bugs me though is if I'm out in public 9 times out of 10 I'm wearing a nice suit because of my job so it's not like I'm walking in looking like I just walked off the set of some rap video or anything. I mean outside of having a large build I'm really not an intimidating person but once someone notices either my shoulder holster or my ankle holster you'd think I kicked in the door and yelled "Time to die crackers!"

It might not be the black thing, it could just be the gun thing.

It's a little different since I lived in Britain until nine months ago, but over here in Belfast the police carry guns, and it makes me incredibly nervous. They've come in to the centre where I work a few times now, and every single time I get very paranoid even knowing that there's a gun in the vicinity.

Some people don't like guns, it's got nothing to do with race.

People assuming that I am weak. I am a 18 years old and only weigh 120 pounds (I have damn near no body fat, less than 2%. And yes I eat quite a bit, I just don't gain weight.)

What most people don't know is a do a rather intense workout nearly every day and have very well toned muscles and a six-pack. I am actually quite a bit stronger that most people I know my age despite my low weight.

Because I'm not smiling, I'm always sad.

Dafuq? I'm usually in a "I don't care for what's going on right now" mood, so I have a straight face. My parents bend over backwards to try and make me "Feel happy" (I'm not sad, I just don't give a rats ass). Everything in my life is fine, I have no reason to be sad. And I've told them, but they won't stop asking, which gets me pissed off.

But what can I say. They're my parents, and I love them.

People assume that since I was homeschooled, I'm completely anti-social....Fools, I just choose not to talk to you. You cannot comprehend my superior intellect! :p

Lets see, this is for specific people since there is no one big assumption about me.

Mom: Assumes that I am still her six year old from a very long time ago.

Grandma: assumes that since I wear a hat, I'm in a gang.

People at school: Assume that I'm gay. I have no idea why. I do not give off any gay vibes to anyone but its sort of funny messing with the homophobic kids at school.

The biggest assumption is that I'll take any insults people throw at me, and sad to say, this is sort of true. I am not the most conflict friendly guy, but when I snap, I snap and people get creeped out by it.

People thinking I'm lesbian because I'm a solidly built, manly woman. Although I've learnt to deal with it. Another one is people thinking I'm violent and angry. I may have a temper, but I've learnt to keep it in check. It kinda bothers me. I try to be nice to people. I don't know. First impressions, you know?

Basically this. It amuses me to blow people's minds by telling them that *gasp* there are places besides school to socialize.

I know that feel. I also hate when people assume that I don't work out and that my body just doesn't gain weight. Yes, it's harder for me to gain weight, but that doesn't mean I don't work out to stay in shape. I had to run a fitness test in school in which everyone ran as many laps (don't remember the distance) as they could and then recorded it. I ran 26 laps then almost choked to death on all the dust in the air, and my friend who is overweight ran 35 laps. He then said to another kid that " don't work out, his metabolism does all the work."

Oh. You probably didn't get the memo when you turned 13, but in your city there must be a secret club in your city, and you must gain access trough a small blood sample that will confirm your ethnicity. Then insert your penis on the lock to enter.

Meetings for the "Destroy All Women" Project are Monday nights. We also sync our girlfriends'/wives' menstruation cycles so that we can play xbox together and listen to Eminem while saying the "n word".
Sorry, Monday doesn't work for me, I'm too busy washing my 5 lambos and backhanding my black slaves.

I'm over 20 so I must drink and smoke. Why is this so common?

I believe gaming used to be better, I must be wearing nostalgia goggles. Why the hell are they rose-tinted anyway?

I'm apparently a hipster, because I don't follow any fashions or limit my listening to top 40. Plus, I wear spectacles that look good on me. I'm also sad because my moustache droops down when my face isn't doing anything. That's not true, I'm sad because presumptuous people keep offering criticism I'm not interested in. I've no interest in bettering myself.

Are you well dressed and preternaturally witty? More importantly, have you been having homosexual sex with men of the same gender?

That I'm miserable when I have no expression on my face. My mother makes this mistake all the time, if I'm neither smiling nor frowning I must be miserable. Nope, I'm neutral, I'm not pissed off or really happy, I'm just meh.

I've had a few people tell me that they figure I could drink them under the table.

I'm a teetotaler.

Also, because I'm tall and wide, lots of people think I'm a butch fighting man at first.

I'd rather play with a kitten. -_-

One time, I got a buzzcut and went for a walk downtown. Almost half the black people I met walked right off the sidewalk into the street to stay as far away from skinhead-me as possible.

Personal favorite set:

"I'm a gamer."

"Ooh, which consoles do you have?"

"None. I'm a PC elitist ."

"Oh. That means you get all your games and stuff for free? I wish I could."

"NOPE. I have a functional set of ethics. Please don't bring it up again."

The look of slight guilt and surprise on their face is inevitable... and rather satisfying.

People like to think I'm sad or depressed because I don't smile very often. Dang it, if there's not something incredibly funny and/or soul-meltingly happy going on in front of me at the moment, there's no reason for me to smile!

Also, a lot of folks think that because I don't have a girlfriend and am not constantly talking about the breasts of females, I'm gay. I in turn think it's fun to mess around with them by putting on the most stereotypical homosexual voice I can and continuing to converse with them in that fashion. :D

I was homeschooled briefly as well... never partied so hard in my life prior to (or after) that.

Once when I was seventeen, a student one grade below me asked me at school if I was a teacher. I know I looked slightly older than most people of my age at the time but that one still baffles me.

I get this as well. Another assumption that I get because I'm a 'quiet guy' is that 'one day I'm just going to snap' and kill everyone.
This. So much. My whole life (even going back as far as junior high), I've been asked by people, "Why are you so mad?" or, "Why are you being so quiet? Is something wrong?"

My face has always been too serious for a number of people, it seems. But the one I really don't get is the quiet example. All the people that have asked me why I'm quiet tell me it seems weird to be like that. What a load. Being more of a taciturn fellow is not indicative of mental instability.

And yeah, I've had more than one person tell me I seem like the kind of guy who'll go nuts and kill everyone "one of these days".
I just don't get it. And I probably never will. *Shrugs*
