Not to sound weird and creepy or anything, but how old was the girl too? I only ask because I'm 19 and I still haven't lost it, and was wondering if it's common for girls to stay virgins beyond the stereotypical age of 16 now, or not. I just haven't found the right girl yet, but I don't ever mention that to friends since I'm worried they'll think I'm weird or something. Had I had enough time alone with her... I could've done it at 14(18 now), in 8th grade. Of course, it was probably for the best, anyway. She figured out she was a lesbian about 9th or 10th grade, and it might've made things complicated.

The whole concept of the "right" person to lose your virginity to just cracks me up. I think it's a meaningless title, given power by a society that is absurdly outdated. I think what's important is being accepting and comfortable about sex, and your own sexuality. People that fixate on things like virginity are the same people that aren't comfortable with the idea of sex in general.
