no it's other people using the site, like where you type in your replies, go a head and ask cleverbot something really specific that only a human would know, like what country they live in, what state, first name,last name, any thing like that

It states that it gives responses that other people have also given in their description, meaning that anytime someone answers the question "Name?" or anything else it saves it and repeats it back whenever it is prompted by keywords.
Its just a damn good keyword recognizer, and has good text assimilation.

OT: Unless you can offer any proof to what you are accusing, I declare this thread to be a shenanigans. Despite it being buggy as hell, what Cleverbot symbolizes is one of the first steps to actually creating software that recognizes language rather than words in order to create software that can literally be picked up and spoken to, or at least "talked" to in plain English. To declare that it's all fake is to defile what the people behind Cleverbot, and other AI programs like it, are actually trying to achieve.

No way it could work like that, i told cleverbot my name and where i lived, and it responsed from a guy name Paul from Ohama Nebraska

More proof. It highlighted name and location and played back the name and location of another guy.

Okay, well i ask it a question and the response was "cleverbot what does that have to do with anything, we were talking about cooking?"

Not that I've ever been (or about to... no offence),but have you tried asking it to play a game of finishing your sentences? a machine should find it hard to figure out your intent while real user should understand or using intentional type-oooo (typos). that should help validate your claim.

I'm personally otherwise uninterested.....beyond this.
