She is right that the Wii is better at getting and keeping you active during game play. It is used in nursing homes all over the world for that very reason. But that is just one part of what it does, and it doesn't even do that part very well. How many people (my parents included) ran out and bought a Wii because they wanted to play Wii sports? They spent 200 US dollars on one game that if sold alone would probably run about 30.

I think part of the reason that no one likes the Wii is because all they ever do with it is play Wii Sports. I think it's a good console but there are much better platforms for gaming.

Well She Thinks she knows gaming now and I quote "There is not much diffrence between the 3 systems except the wii is better because it gets you up and moving." this was said to my Mother and when I tried to talk to her about the diffrent systems I told her the the Graphics for the Wii is not the best and the Controls are more often than not sloopy. She pulled the good old fassion "I am older so i know what the hell i am talking about" move

So she went on to diss the Xbox and PS3 saying they Are worse than the wii but not stating a real reason so i tell here about Prject Natal and she says Its not out yet is it ?

So i try to tell her about the Controls again she stops listening to it and starts Getting angry With not being able to prove the Wii is better. saying that my Mother should buy me A Wii and Not get me the Xbox When I am doing chores to make my own money around the neighborhood And then she says That I should not get the Xbox Because it would let me actually play games almost When i come home from a long day of school i want to shoot heads not throw a remote at the tv because of piss poor controls and Graphics

What gets my goat though is that even though I am one of the only three Games in this town of Jocks and Sports lovers she acts LIKE I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE about gaming so this is where you guys come in she wont belive me But if i can show her a list of reasons of why the wii sucks and give examples of it the more the better . So please help me.

The Wii has simple controls that anyone can figure out and will frustrate those who are into mainstream games, unlike your aunt who just bought one, if it's her first game system, try to pry her head out of her ass first, because an old woman buys a wii and immediately forms an attachment to it, it's pathetic and anal-retentive of her to think it's better.
anther option is you challenge her to fight you on a game for the 360 and while she's furiously shaking the controller like it's a wiimote, kick her ass in it and that'll teach her.

Anywho, I have a Wii myself, and whilst I would never sit down to a game of Left 4 Dead 2 on it, I have seen a few good games for it - Mario Galaxy, Zelda, No More Heroes, and I do have Wack and Zicky, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I also use the WiiFit thing, and WiiSports can be surprisingly fun...

In other words, its something different, and a nice break from time to time.
